Play 1vs1 :( Although, it's still early days. Perhaps some new strategies will flow from this patch, making the game more balanced. Perhaps with the return of the T3 some tactics will change now.

Hope so. for now i basically skipping the T70 and going straight for T34 its good against infantry also.

I agree, its annoying! but there must be away. i think T34 is better now.

The T34 is a lot better now. It deals more damage, though the penetration rate went down. This means flanking enemy armor is a lot more important.

i agree!, now mid game is more balanced. gives hope for soviets players :)

Penetration went up:

Main gun damage from 80 to 120
• Main gun penetration from 75 to 80
• Cost from 240 MP and 95 FU to 280 MP and 85 FU

So now it 100% penetrates Pz4 from Rear, and 50% from front.

I mislooked, it's the penetration rate for ramming that went down, pretty hard as well. 1000 to 160

T-34 > P4
T-34 can now kill panzer4 if microed properly, and also atm p4 is like useless!!! vs infantry while t-34 is rly good
Germans lost the advantage they had (if u can call that advantage)
Next patch lets nerf LMG on grens and pgrens nade so I can burst my PC into flames :D
But srsly some1 come up wit da strategy fast! :<

Since T3 became useful again, it doesn't matter as much that the SU85 has -50 percent movement speed when in long range mode, because you can keep T34s around to scout, while keeping your SU85 in the back where it belongs.

I had my a** kicked today by Germans, due to the improved Scout Car, which can be difficult to handle until the Guards come out, making AT Grenades a necessity (and snipers a lot less efficient).

I guess we'll have to wait until everybody adjusts to the new changes and see what meta-game will grow from that.

The last 3-4 guys I've played against have absolutely wrecked face with their PZ4s. Those things don't suck.

useless vs infantry, it took my p4 2 minutes to clear squad of conscripts, and put troops in building, lol

Haven't played enough games (5 games) to be conclusive about it, but as I see it the Scout Car becomes an early game necessity (perhaps even more than the Flamer Halftrack).
I would also go for heavier AT in mid-game. Paks come to mind, since you won't have enough ammo to upgrade a Scout Car and build Panzerfausts / Mines quick enough. Perhaps putting ammo as a priority instead of fuel (which was a valid technique before the patch as well). The StugIII might (finally) become useful to handle the Soviet T3, though I'm not sure about it. I've based this mostly on theoretical thinking, I'm going to play more games tonight.

the problem is the soviets are very weak at early game, they get advance at first m3 until AC arrives then german have high ground until soviet t3 unit arrives but after a minute p4 arrives and so on..

haven't had any luck with my usual cons->m3+sniper->su85 strat, won some games using combined T2 and guards/doctrinal mortars though.
t34 is still useless bullcrap and su85 is seriously nerfed
oorah nerf is subtle but makes early game even worse
