So i created this thread a while ago, but with the remake of the Tank Hunter doctrine some questions remain. I know the stats on stat.coh2.hu are incorrect but are this, the stats Vipper posted, the real dps numbers?

conscipt_ptrs_41_mp-------2.10//1.91//1.71//1.19//0.66
guard_troop_ptrs_41-------2.06//1.80//1.55//1.29//1.02
penal_ptrs_41_mp----------0.66//0.56//0.47//0.36//0.26

And am i correct to say that the conscipt PTRS changes are a lower anti Infantry damage but the anti Tank damage stays the same because it gets the anti Infantery values of the penal PTRS but the deflect damage stays the same?

And the last question still unanswered. If i pick up a PTRS what PTRS do i Pick up? Is it depended on the squad picking up this weapon or does it depend who dropped the weapon. Because now there will be 3 weapon that can drop, arent there?

The PTRS morphs into whichever version the squad is set to have.

Some squads have been designated as "elite" though this is not an actual designation in the game files.

So penals will get a penal PTRS no matter what they pick up. Same for conscripts.

The only way to know what squads get what version is to analyze the game files since it's a set of special rules introduced in recent patches so penals could get their PTRS as a stock option.

Ok i thought it will be this way.

I found in the Patchnotes, that Guards PTRS were buffed. So the new DPS should be 0,1 shot/sec * 27 damage * accuracy (Stats Page is down at the moment). Is this the correct Formulare and is the Penal PTRS doing 20 Damage against Infantry?

now PTRS have 3 Version
1 Guard PTRS Good for AI and AT Elite inf use it too
Shocktrooper Pgren Stromtrooper Obersoldaden Strumpio ETC
2 Penal PTRS Good for AT but Bad for AI role non Elite inf use it too
include Non Tank hunter conscipt
3 conscipt Tank hunter like Penal PTRS but lower Detect Dmg none Drop for other unit

because Update on 12 hours ago
Info website like stats.hu or attribute editor need 2-3 day to update to live patch

Thanks a lot, this was really helpful :-)

I just fear that having 3 completely different behaviors for the exact same weapon might irritate new players. But on the other hand it is still better than having an OP weapon.
