2v2 - OKW and Wehr (help request)

Hi!

I usually play with my friend (he picks Wehr) and since last patch we just got wiped by spamming allies. We can't deal with this amount of infantry and tanks - we don't know what we do wrong in all games.

I play Elite Armored Doctrine (but Sturmtiger is very situational, signal relay is useful against allies tanks spam because I know where they want attack) and Special Operations Doctrine (beacuse of Command Panther). I thinked about Fortifications Doctrine but is it worth to play?

My queue is something like: Kubelwagen, 3x Volk, puppchen, Mechanized Regiment, MG (or additional volks depends of situation) then Luchs. After that I try to reach Schwerer Panzer Headquarters and get Panther, but I think I build this base too close of critical points and allies arty wipe me fast.

My friend plays Spearhead Doctrine (but in my opinion Mortar Halftrack isn't worth it) and sometimes Mechanised Assault Doctrine for fast Assault Grenadiers spam. He doesn't play light vehicles, he pushes to Panzer IV if we need tank or directly to Panther. He also doesn't play PaK because he doesn't build Leichte Mechanized Kompanie (I have Luchs).

We usually got rekt by something like 3 Katyushas with couple SU-85 cover and infantry with PTRS. It's always about amount of units which allies have. Brits also easily spam us with load of tanks - when 2 Brits built mortars I picked 2 Stukas after Luchs, tried to destroy buildings, in this time my friend had 2 tanks and suddenly Brits wiped us with 5 tanks.

Any advices for 2v2 OKW and Wehrmacht? Maybe should I switch to Wehrmacht too or my friend to OKW (don't know if 2 OKW or 2 Wehr would be better against allies spam)? Please help us find proper strategy with good commanders and queues for both of us. Many pleaers complained that allies got nerf and axis are more OP now but we don't see this.

Hey man,

A) don't go for 2 Wehrmacht. The higest winrate has double okw on random automatches. And then 1 okw and 1 Wehrmacht.

B) Could you upload replays from you and your friend? And then post it here: https://www.coh2.org/forum/109/replay-reviews

So Strategist and other people can help you better and easier.

There are too many factors in this game. Your gamestyle, map, spawn; if you play vs 2 soviet, 2 brits, 2 usa etc.

Docs: Commandopanther or Panzerfüssis with JT are great docs for 2vs2! Also Elefant doc or Lighting war( with tiger)
