Not shure if there is another recent post about this. If so, please provide a link. If not:
Can somebody explain how the ladders work in this game?
If you look at the screenshot and compare player #118 and #123, you see that:
- 123 has a streak of +1, 118 of -6
- 123 has a much higher win-percentage
- 123 has more wins in total
- 123's last game is more recent.
Obviously, 123 is better in everything one (or at least I) consider important, yet he is
a) very close to 118 and
b) ranked at a lower position.
Is it a bug, a feature or beyond me?
A question about the ladder5

Its probably some hidden ELO type ranking, so he may have more wins vs higher ranked players. Look at my OKW rank as an example - when i started this 2 years ago, i sucked arse, big time, and okw was shit in compareing to other factions, but last half year or so i have far more wins with it than loses, and i have finaly got 50% win rate, and most of the latest wins are vs good opponents.

#123 is me, but it's about 118 and 123.
ELO seems reasonable however.

The closest to an explanation can be found here.
In short Arnolaz ist right, the ranks are given according to a hidden ELO value, which you can't derive directly from anything that you see in the table.
A few wins against high ranking opponents is better than lots of wins against very low ranking ones.

But that only applies while the sample is fairly low. Spam games at a 60/70% WL ratio and you can top the ladder.

Yeah, I should have written "might". The point I was trying to convey was that quantity of wins isn't the only thing that counts...
