Is white phosphorus necessary on comet

Is it necessary for this tank to have this ability. It's already an extremely versatile unit as it is why give it an AT gun gib ability.
The main issue is the abilities ridiculous range (80) and being the only WP DoT to actually kill off models rather than leaving them at 1.
It needs to have its range to be the same as the Comet's own range and not have the WP kill so it's not death to weapon teams.

Thing is, when it does work it's instant death for things like pak guns who can't run out of the smoke.
Just because something is buggy, which should be fixed, does not excuse how powerful it is since you can fire it from 80 in-game meters away and all for the cheap price of 20 munitions.

1) gets vet in 0.000001 seconds
2) would be ridiculous if you could shoot on the move
3) takes like 1 seconds
4) takes like 2 seconds to fire, then you realize how maniacal the queen is

I mean, Anti infantry doesn't seem to be super strong on it. I feel like the teching costs and the manpower necessary render it fair for its AT capability and such, so the ability feels fine. It is op in the respect it kills models, so maybe change that if anything.

Nah, that's just my feeling after using the ability once, lose my comet because of it. Never bother touch the ability again after that.
Nerf it as much as you want as long as the bug is fixed.

It's not that straightforward though. It is also the only white phosphorus to not cause:
- Speed debuff on infantry (would be OP as fuck with crush)
- Weapon disable on tanks
IMO to make white phosphorus feel less retarded:
- Give it an actual cooldown. 30 seconds minimum
- Give it an actual cost; 25 munitions minimum
- Give it all the bad things (no death crit) and all the nice things (movement debuff/gun disable) of other white phosphorus abilities
- Give it an actual scatter, so using WP to snipe paks becomes risky
- Give it increased movement scatter, so that the WP cannot zero on on enemy paks while you yolo-dodge everything
And above all, make Comet decide whether it wants to be a great AI specialist (WP/low-scatter on the gun) or a great AT specialist (good penetration, turret, decent rate of fire, great mobility).

Also agree the comet needs to be addressed currently it is Anti-vehicle specialist tank, without the need to specialize in anti-vehicle. It performs wonders against infantry, support weapons, and tanks. I would go so far as to rate it the best medium(/heavy) tank in the game.

Yep the comet is actually pretty ridiculous I would even say its pretty OP, its just good at everything. Flanking speed, accurate and deadly main gun (both to inf and tanks), good health, WP, nades, good reload and turret traverse, and armour so strong it's not even funny. Yes the comet is capable of bouncing KT shots no joke, and I've seen it happen plenty of times before.

cant really do that cuz it will effect how it works for other units like heavy atgun... need to shoot it from far or else u die real fast... risky already using the ability
