Wow I didn't look at this tournament closely till now. So the top 8 (everyone that qualifies for the real tournament) is decided by BO1? That seems very reckless, remember when Romeo knocked out VonIvan in BO1 during ESL? I'm sure qualifying is more important than winning supply.
They should have just done 3 x BO3 and narrowed it from 64 to 8.
I believe there are 2 qualifying weekends and the games are BO1 until the quarter finals each week. I don't know if today's winners go automatically into the 16 selection or whether they take results from both qualifiers like ESL did.
Today when we hit the QF's it will be best of 3.
