I use Puma to get rid of bofors and other emplacement, you get range and vision on them :snfPeter:

yeah and no brit player ever used infantry sections and AT guns alongside their main defensive line right?

Don't go spearhead with a puma, a single bofors not supported is gold for puma.
Rare i agree, but it works, puma is a good AT unit and emplacement cleaner

Totally agree. The Puma is a good and the most balanced unit in the game imho. It can spot for itself and lone bofors can be cleared really quickly.

The puma is a great unit. It hard counters light tanks while coming at a similar time in the game, has enough pen to effectively contain mediums, and has enough AI damage to harass lone/capping infantry squads.

It's a good unit to build if you weren't able to get a quick luchs and your opponent is going for a quick light tank or saving for a medium. It's best used at long range, if you micro it properly it's hard to kill with anything except mobile TDs. It can be used to aggressively pursue enemy light tanks but be wary of over committing; a stuart using shell shock at point blank range can quickly turn the tables on a puma if a vet1 rifle or bazooka squad shows up. Likewise if the enemy is using mines (especially m20 mines) make sure you have sweepers and avoid common mine locations.

Very often.

If I want heavy AT inf, I go for Luchs.
Yet sometimes I want AI Inf without schrecks, with Fusiliers, or MHG and Falchs.
In that case, fast puma keeps you safe till late-game from any kind of armor.

Well, sometimes it's even better to get 3 Pumas instead of 1 Panther to make a job done.

Puma doesn't perform very well until vet 3, then it's a beast.
