Hi, I made a mod but other people can't update the mod in Steam. Anyone know how to fix this?

If they are subscribed to it, it should update automatically.

However, if you mean update it as in publish it, only you can do that.

They are subscribed but are stuck on an earlier version, even when they try to manually update it.

Would it work if as a last resort they download the mod folder from me in place it in their drive?

You could give them the .sga directly, from your "Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\mods" folder.

You mean my mod .sga or is there an .sga with the current version of my mod? My mod is saved in the C:\ drive in a folder.

In the company of heroes 2 > mods there is no .sga, only folders from assets to tuning.

I used the Search engine in there and found a bunch of .sga files, the last modified file is called :350239738.sga

You could grab that one, too. When your mod is built, it is copied from your mod folder to a subfolder in "Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\mods" based on the mod type (tuning, etc). The numeric .sga files are subscriptions, so you would not give them those. I figured it was implied, so I apologize for not clarifying.

I gave another player a copy of my mod .sga but I still get the message that we don't have the same version of the mod.
