How to defeat blobs

how does OKW deal with blobs mid to late game? which non-doctrinal counters exist?
imo the walking stuka is overnerfed and furthermore really easy to dodge
you have no non-doctrinal mg
the flak halftrack is useless once the enemy has a pack or a sufficient number of zooks/piats
you have no demo
mines suck against blobs (no suppression like in vcoh)

The SU can't blob and even if they do they're just making themselves a laughing stock.

and no, the forming of blobs is not my choice.
as i already wrote, a flak will only last a limited amount of time

OKW has a supper aggressive early game, so yea it is your choice.

Blobs are formed only if you let them. Bleed your opponent early game and create a health crisis, forcing him to get an angulance. with 2xSturms and Kubels. A rushed Flak is surprisingly game changing against USF. Same start apllies against the Bris.

SU can blob if he goes t1, gets an m3 and penals.
You lose the earlygame because of m3, su get munition to get flamers and mines.
Once you lost the map you have to spread your troops to cap back, but you get punished by either a giant flamermob, the m3 or maxim/dschk.
Atleast I cant think of any way to beat that and before I get the l2p card. I´ve seen much better players get steamrolled by this, for instance luvnest.
On topic:
The only thing to atleast make the blobber bleed is the ostwind, but you have to constantly babysit it and keep jaegers around it. Until there it´s pretty much a fight for survival.
A big enough usf blob with zookas can ohk it and even take out the schwerepanzerHQ without smoke or any kind of armour/artillery. 8cp is also realy late.
Without hmg it´s realy not easy to counter the blob and even if you get the mg34 it gets overrun, just a-move towards it. The flakhalftrack doesnt stop the blob either, it delays the first tank and dies to easily.
Imo it´s not impossible to beat blobs as okw, but it isn´t an easy task.

Try micromanaging it.
well, its not like the flak halftrack has a setup and ?setdown? time. if you are in a slightly bad position, you are dead.

yeah, i probably should use it more often!

free smoke + fast set up + extra range + attack ground says hi...

Obersoldaten are great in a defensive position with their long range, high damage output and decent durability.
Doctrinally, you have plenty of tools you can mix in with your core army. Flak emplacements are cheap as fuck and reasonably effective at punishing blobs, goliaths are amazing, you can build MG34's, machine gun bunkers and S-mines with some doctrines, flammhetzer excels against infantry blobs as does the sturmtiger and when all else fails you can simply build a better blob.

but u can deal with them with mech or medic.
if u comfortable with medic use flak ht vs usf blob (but flakht suck solo, put it behind your infantry wall and make roketten as fast as u can). soviet t1 weak vs flakht but if u see cons spam be carefull about flak ht or u can skip it and make more vetren infantry like fussilier g43 (blob vs blob).ifu saw maxim spam just make more volks from begining and try flank them by nade.about guard spam , obers are good but u can also use fussiliers .

Flak halftrack is ridiculously good if you use it properly. Practice with it a bit, it's all about where you position it and knowing when it is time to run.

To my knowledge, the Walking Stuka hasn't been nerfed even once since release. It only got a few buffs, when its veterancy requirements were lessened.
As far as blobs are concerned, a P4 is pretty good vs infantry. It vets up quite rapidly too. Late game, you have KT. Vetted Obers in cover shred infantry. Timing your Stuka barrages so that they hit the USF forward retreat point as the squads retreat can pay off quite nicely. You can see the Major's FRP in the FOW by looking for the antennas. Sturmtiger is also an option, albeit not very reliable.

Good Post Scratched.
Did you come across any successful tactics countering blobs as OKW?
