Let me guess, you already forgot how brits were pre AEC buff?

Let me refresh your memory:

This is with the emplacements, bren spam, strong AT gun(which never had free sprint and now costs MORE then back then), crocs, commandos(which were nerfed since) and cromwells.

You know what is a singular change between that curve and current one, which looks like this:

Hm?

Let me enlight you-AEC.

Its the only thing that keeps brits in the game atm.
Yes, it overperforms, but you're delusional if you believe brits are fine otherwise and without it.

What are you going to excuse that with?

Top 150 players not playing beta?
Or it not being ATs for 1v1s?

Seems you are the only men who still believes in those charts. If you would play 1v1 or ESL matches, you could knew that, the british meta changed and now is not based on AEC. What meta is it? But let me remind you some facts, the only problem brits have with Osttruppen/Sniper combo. Of course, brits learn play against that with bren CV and his free recon to don't allow ostheer's sniper do something. Of course, later we have strong vet 1 vickers with extra range, gained even in trenches and arty cover to kill every axis attack. Yeah, relic didn't buff it like AEC but ppl learn to play that. Did you knew that? Of course you not, because you are not playing 1v1 NOW.

Fine.

Do it your way.

Please watch ESL matches pre AEC buff.
The ones post all the nerfs.

British meta changed from holding desperately territory with bofors or rushing for crom/cent to mid game AEC based strats, which is the exactly SAME bo, just with AEC, plugging mid game holes.

I absolutely hate that Ostheer can't build sandbags. Please put them in the game.

I voted sandbags and bunkers... now I feel a little greedy.

With the current state of Ostheer (besides the sniper), Ostheer players cannot be greedy enough :)

More than other faction? Tell me which things? And no, it isn't complete when it's most UP faction in the game.

The Werhmacht has the broadest range of nondoctrinal units in the game. They have everything from long to close range specialists, medium and medium+ tanks, rocket arty, easy access to every type of support weapon, building clearing, infantry-based AT platforms, vehicle snares, mines etc. They don't need a doctrine for as a crutch to for fill any role except for getting a light tank hunter, but with the new 222 that problem will be fixed.

Compare this to OKW, UKF and USF and you will see that these armies are not nearly as complete as the Wehrmacht. Only the Soviets can be considered on-par; though their infantry is lackluster so you'll see Soviets going for doctrines faster.

Ostheer might be the most versatile faction, but their core units are not actually strong with the exception of the sniper and the pwerfer, and neither are their synergies, which means that Ostheer in an ironic twist of history as of now is actually more commander dependant than any other faction. There is a reason why you see Prosttruppen/mobile defence 24/7.

I do not agree at all. The only thing that sets Ostheer back is the allied light vehicle rush, which will soon be addressed by the 222 change. Other than that their core units are mostly fine. Only the Ostwind and the Brumbar perform lackluster.

If grens were to gain sandbag ability then bunker should be removed. Either or, not both.

That was before the WFA/Brits powercreep. Now apart from their early game woes Ostheer has to contend with double browning rifles, callis, pershings, arty cover, crocs, etc in the lategame.
Also, so many people maintain Ostheer core is fine...because they never really actually play it. How many people with flavour OH play have you recently encountered on the ladder? ;) ESL has demonstrated that you can win high level competitive games with Soviet Reserve army or partisans just fine, but when is the last time you saw, lets say Storm doc, or Joint Ops, or Jaeger inf utilised? OH, in my opinion, as of now crutches extremely strongly on 2-3 docs and 2-3 overperforming units, in very much the same fashion ie. Soviets did during the Guard/85 meta of yore.

On topic, Grens I reckon should not be able to construct sandbags as the synergy is potentially too strong IMHO, I see no reason however why pios should not be able to.

I do fairly well playing Ostheer core. Storm doc, lightning war, Festung Support etc. The only problem I have is dealing with the light vehicles, which will soon be addressed.

I voted no. Wehr is already a very complete faction. No need to give wehr all the toys when they already have more than other factions.

I suggest we give every faction all the toys.

Ostheer = Quality over quantity like they're supposed to? I think not. Too bad they'll never live up to what they're about. :(

Except maybe the Tiger Ace :foreveralone:
