penal satchel charge need a buff

the satchel needs its old anti-building damage back. The ability is kind of useless without the capability to demolish building in one hit.


in addition, the satchel should cause damaged engine at 75% hp and destroyed engine at 50%. It would make the penal useful against the axis heavy.

I said HP, not chances.

it's not really RNG when the satchel will only cause damaged engine at 75% hp and destroyed engine at 50% hp.

It's basically how the faust works, except the satchel will also cause a destroyed engine when the target is at 50% hp.

About the building damage, its a bug and it is in Relics database.

As far as I rememeber Cuddletronic said it is intended for nades to deal no damage to builings BUT he will pass this issue to the team.

5kg bag of explosives =! nade.

If relic thinks it should do nade-like damage to buildings, then they should replace it with normal nade as current satchel is utterly useless.

If relic has no desire to give back the old satchel give them the guard nade and a smoke grenade, then their hard counter is still vehicles. But yea about time for some action as Soviet us well and trey let becoming the forgotten faction lol. Old satchel results back would be simplest.

Sadly they do too, hence the change which took away satchels role.

They think its a nade, while its throw-able demo.

Basically, yeah.

A satchel charge that has an incredibly short range, 3 second fuse time, and does not destroy buildings has no use against anyone who isn't comatose.

Whenever it is a bug or a feature, it's still silly. This is a big stonking bag of explosives, usable only on one (already mediocre) specialist unit, with a 45 ammo cost and crappy range. If it can't damage buildings, what the heck is its intended use? The one game in a hundred where Axis bothers to build bunkers and doesn't defend them properly?
