I'm 30, living in Poland. Completely new to coh2 (haven't played coh either). As a history buff, I've been playing ww2 strategies (and not only) since Panzer General 2.
I'm an avid reader of history books (mostly about 3rd Reich, social history, pre ww2, German gear etc) - have quite a few books on my shelves.
As an old fart, I'm not aiming anywhere above the ultra-noob-casual-player level, tho I hope to have some fun time with the game. Currently half-way through the Soviet campaign and a few skirmishes vs the AI.
Favorite faction so far - you would never guess - the Ostheer
Haven't played against a human yet as I want to complete both campaigns first. I've heard that it would be a good idea to buy the 3 DLC with additional missions so will definitely crush the piggy bank as soons as any discounts for them appear.
