This has happened to me twice in two days and I feel like it may have happened to me before but I cant be sure. I can provide the replay if needed.

I am pretty pissed as both sides were enjoying the most recent game and got mad when it happened.

I really can't say if this is a bug or an exploit by the enemy team.

IKR! I couldn't find a single mention of it through google however so I don't know if it is a recent thing or what.

I was playing with my group of friends, and one of them said he didn't vote yes, and we still surrendered. So I can vouch that I have experienced this as well.

HEllo.

Happened to me twice too. The counter said 3Yes and 1No and we surrendered.

Its because after certain amount of time, the surrender button needs less people, after an hour only needs 3 in 4 vs 4, and it continues

What I am talking about happened somewhere in the area of 30-40 minutes.

we had just killed 2 KTs which suggested the enemy team had done this somehow.

If it is like that, it can be just a drophack, it makes you all lose conection to the server resulting in lost by "hosting" the game. Was a pretty common hack in other competitive games not too long ago

So you're not sure that everyone voted no?

like pablo said, you only need 3 yes votes (2 in 3v3) after a certain amount of time (or possibly some other unknown conditions are met).

I think it has to do with VPs too.

I've had close VP games 4v4s where an ally had dropped and one person initiated the vote and it immediately ended the game. I do think that a player dropping messes with the Surrender vote (even more.)

But I know 100% that it does not always operate on consensus.

I will ask someone to look into the surrender mechanics and find out for sure what's going on. If something doesn't seem right then I will see if I can reproduce the issue myself.

Thanks

EDIT: Just saw that there is another thread . I guess it isn't quite the same. Nonetheless I will still see what I can find out.

It was a 3v3. My friend and I both hit no and it was around the 30-40 mark.

I can confirm this, had it happen yesterday, playing with 2 friends, so I am sure that no was pressed (I actually didn't even press anything, neither yes or no)
