That's... it?

Perhaps they forgot to press 'paste' before posting?

Lame patch though. Could it REALLY be that hard to buff the sexton or base arty?

The main complaint about the AEC was it's extreme lack of AI.

This has been fixed it appears so what's to complain about? Should be worth it's cost now and give the UKF a decent early armour option.

The AEC now has the accuracy of a t-70 with nearly the splash of a 34-85

no one is complaining about the AEC buff.

But.....imagine ordering a pizza and then finding out that you've only been given a single piece of grated cheese instead. Cheese is still good but I want the damn patch-pizza XD

I tried it in-game, it is still best to just wait for a Cromwell instead. This change will not do anything as long as this unit, along with the unlocking costs, are that high.

Permanently Banned
Small patches like this are what happens when people bitch and bitch and bitch about relic making big changes in the previous patches. That's on all of the whiners that make up the vocal minority.

Pls, we just love game and write about it, you dont write about game like we :D. Pls do not Relic lawyer :snfQuinn:.

Other than the Centaur though this could make the AEC the anti-blob weapon of choice, and appearing early enough to hard counter lots of different cheeses... With just that little bit of extra firepower UKF might be able to transition into the later game without being swamped.

When did this patch take effect?

Won a couple of games earlier ( which is very unusual for me!) using AECs...

AEC just gets eaten by double Shreks and/or superior puma the moment it comes out. It's still way too expensive for the tiny bit of punch it may offer.

So the biggest issue in the game right now is the "pathing improvement" from the last patch which the community has been unanimous in declaring a poor change that should be reverted and we don't see it today.

I am disappoint.

Trying It againts units and Its really usefull now. At first I thought they could add +5 fuel but It looks fine but of course needs 1v1 timings to have good opinion.

Before you go on to praise the AEC-Jesus that will spare the Brits from the stale sniper-spam strategy, consider the following:

The AEC just received a massive buff vs infantry and weapon teams. However, it is not as "bad" as it sounds.

- The AoE distance profile (which determines near/mid/far distances) has NOT been updated

What this means, is that the new AEC will "only" be dealing far-damage to most targets. Vs infantry in the open this damage = 24

Compared to the Cromwell gun:
- AEC deals "only" 75% damage
- AEC fires faster (~4 secs vs ~6 secs)
- Has worse moving accuracy (50% vs 75%)

As always, for best results, use attack ground to plant a shot where it will deal more damage.

The new AEC is a beast.

Having the AEC having hidden mechanism for best use using ground attack is definity not the way to go. Relic clearly stated they wanted to streamline the experience of every armies, but they keep adding these little things to make Allies more frustrating to use.
