Hey all,

Me and my friend Center, are playing 2v2 as UKF/SU.

Sadly I have reached a wall with trying to teach him what to do.
Admittedly I am not the best player myself - however if someone could watch the replay thus posted and give advice to the SU player, I'd like that.

A few short questions:

What build order do you recommend for a player with bad micro ?
What doctrine ?

What best supplements UKF, and how UKF can supplement the SU ?

Best "noob friendly" soviet build is maxim spam, requires about zero micro, basically the build order is Cons -> T2 -> 2-3 maxims -> cons -> Zis
Best commanders would be Shock Rifle so you can mix some Shock Troops in to the build also

Checked the replay and here's a few things I noticed:

Going T1 is not a very good choice anymore, especially if you don't go for double sniper or you make penals, penals are just cons which cost more and doesn't get as much utility through abilities, flamers are of course good, but extra engie squad will do the same thing with less cost

Also he didn't make a flamer scout car which is the thing that T1 is really good for, this allows for some cheesy retreat wipes etc..

He was also blobbing A LOT and got punished pretty bad with the PZWerfer

Later on in the game he rammed a Panther with a almost full healt T-34/76, this just cause him to lose the tank with no real benefit from that

And even later, the way he used the IS-2 wasn't too good, he just went extra ham with it into the enemy lines and was instanly forced to retreat

I will speak with my friend regarding the blobbing.
The T1 idea with Penals was mine as I recalled there was a meta about them. (Clown car included).
We wanted something against the blobbing of the Axis infantry.

I also take responsibility about the T34 ram, though I admit I believed the Panther will have engine damage.
