bugsplat when ever i want too start the game

i have buyed the game and installed it via steam but i cant start it that is my warning.log

When you crash, a bugsplat window appears. when you fill out the info box amd click the Send button is gives you a number.

What are your PC Specs?

If it is crashing on load it may be some mismatch data in the Company of Heroes 2 folder in "\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2".

Try renaming the folder and relaunching the game, this will generate a new Company of Heroes 2 folder. If that does nothing then delete the new folder and rename your previous folder back.

Set a new record today; 4 consecutive bugsplats before I even reached the main menu...

i have redownloaded the game 4 times and deletet all of the game but it dont help i never seen a game window of this game lol

ok i will help a brother out. I too had this error, tried many things, reinstall of OS, update frameworks, latest drivers, etc.

What it came down to was starting COH2 from the coh2.exe by right clicking it and running as administrator. (DOING THIS when steam is not running in the background)

For some reason running coh2 from steam caused me a bug splat error for 2 years, until last week when i rejoin the coh2 community by doing the above steps.

so try that, u could also delete your coh2 folder from your documents and also delete appcache folder from steam\appacache and then verifying the game integrity thru steam but that never helped me. What did was the above statement.

Ok i have get it now it works i must unistall an windows Update this win Update was blocking the Grafikdriver updates everytime he wand Update bluescreen after uninstall tue Update all works fine i will write back her if i get Home what Windows Update it was to help other people with amd grafikcards or Chips mfg

Thats the Fix for Bugsplats with amd drivers and then you can normaly update the drivers

UPDATE: Judging from the comments this works for some people and not work for others well here is a possible fix. Windows released some updates a while back and few years ago which mess up your video out black screen and the blue screen problem. While they did tell us to uninstall it they never released a patch for those that didn't. There are quite a few but this one of the most notorious one I know of (KB2670838). Here what to do.
1. go to "control panel"
2.click on "program and features"
3.on the left hand side click on "view installed updates"
4.copy and paste (KB2670838) to the "search bar" located in the top right corner
5.If you have the update uninstall (it's ok it was optional won't effect your system)
6.restart PC should be working now.

This can fix games not loading or giving a blank black screen when launched as well as fraps just having a black screen. There tutorials you can find on youtube about rubbish updates from windows that cause BSoD and how uninstall them. Hope this helps and remember there are other updates that can cause this too.
