[USF] Buff the Scott, Nerf the pack

No, it is directly related to its stats.

Problem is that it arrives too late and offer to little besides firepower/wipes. I say skill, cause you have to kite with it (something 90% of the playerbase can't do).

I'm sure you know the stats, where to draw them from and interpret it. I'll do it for you.

Damage at near, mid and far. Lethality for infantry and scatter values (angle/distance)
Scot:
1.0: 100 2.0: 15 3.0: 5 80dmg: 1.235 Scatter 0.6/1.2 2.1/4.4 3.6/7.5

RoF: 2.825 + 1.375 + 1.6 = 5.8

Range: 60 on AA ; 80 on barrage (it sucks)


Pack Howie: (with 6 radius. IDK how damage drop off is calculated so this stats are old)
1.5: 80 3.0: 20 4.5: 8 80dmg: 1.5 Scatter 2.4/4 3.6/6 4.8/8

Radius reduced from 6 to 5

Rof: 6.7 + 0.4375 + 2.5 = 9.6375

Range: 80 on AA ; 160 on barrage (few shells and only good at vet2)

Pack howie saving grace is that it brings suppression to the table.

Yeah kinda confirmed the OP.

I say skill, cause you have to kite with it (something 90% of the playerbase can't do).
It's not about skill, it is supposed to counter shreck/pupp blobs, and with the current range/AOE (IE stats) , its performance is below average.

I'm sure you know the stats, where to draw them from and interpret it. I'll do it for you.

The way you did it was not very spectacular. So what's wrong with its stats? Either one of these values for the scott need to be better; Range or AOE.


The Pack has a wide AOE, making 4 dudes extremely vulnerable to wipes from such a long, safe distance.

The people that are saying scotts are fine clearly have no idea since scotts had a massive ninja nerf a few patches ago.

They were fine pre nerf. Now they are shit.

They are fine now. A single one is anoying and a pair of them is downright nasty.

@sorryWTFisthis i think performance wise is fine. The role is not to counter blobs, rather harass infantry units.
IMO, same with Pack howie, i would improve the barrage aspect by both increasing range and shells.

Why the scott needs to be better:
- Late game unit, when the resources are required for other stuff
- Costs fuel,
- short range, kinda
- The latest nerfs were silly and unjustified

Why the Pack Craziness needs to calm down:


- The AOE is insane at the moment, no explanation needed
- Sick range
- Sick Pen
- comes too early


pack is the only way to survive as usf early game :P and you want to nerf it ? it got nerfed already [no aoutoface]

Have you ever played vs double scotts? The things wipe everything that isn't armor :foreveralone:

A buff that could be done is its building time, it takes ages to build them..


scots are preaty useless get connterd really ez :P if you get 2 of them
aixe players just rush them with panzer4 or panthers if you got ownd and gg

scot range is the same like wermaht atg so it allwase get shooted by it [2 hits its down ]

Scott is bad. In team games maybe no but when it appears at the same time as okw p4 it's not funny, really.

The only buff I would give to the scott at this point is decreasing the barrage recharge time. It's basically a glorified mortar barrage at this point but yet it takes 1 minute to recharge.
