Elite Troops after the December patch

This patch didn't do too much to wehr (compared to okw), but the one thing that stuck out to me while reading the wehr section, was that the training ability from elite troops was being replaced with stormtroopers. What are your thoughts on this (specificly the change I mentioned), and does anyone know of any new possible stratagies this would add?

The vet boost was imo an unhealthy game mechanic with no real counter play, having vetted PzIVs, mortars etc, and goddamn, vet boosted sniper were pretty much bullshit too.

There's a lot of resons for the ability to be removed

I like the change myself.
Storm-troopers are one of my favorite units
I also like that g43s come in at 1 cp you can actually use them much sooner.
Overall I find the commander much more balanced and fun to use.
I would however like to see the tiger ace replaced with the KT with its cost adjusted respectively. While its fun to use the tiger ace I think its still just a bit to shock heavy.

I like the fact that relike eliminate every abilitys that cheat the game's core mechanics (you can only gain vet by fighting, you can only gain ressources by having territories). Basically the vet upgrade was potentially brutal on the paper but was meh in real situations. The Stormtroopers are very welcomed. The Ubertiger is where the debat stands as always.
