Flame DOT

Units like the Croc/KV8/Rifleman-flamers seem to be really strong, and the DOT, where they hang around on the ground afterwards, seems to be making these units kind of absurd. I'm just wondering why Damage-Over-Time is needed?

Personally, these units seem ridiculous, since they counter their hard counters, and the DOT just makes it worse.

Rifleman flamers have no DOT. KV-8 is not worth it any more in my experience. Havent used or met croc this patch but knowing it does as pathetic damage with its flamer as WASP i belive it is just an overpriced churchill, especially manpower wise.

The only flamer vehicle that is really good now, in my experience too good, is flamer ht as it does twice the damage any other vehicle flamer does.

the dots might be better off moved to an ability. i like the concept off them, as it lets you deny spots, but it's REALLY effective against setup teams right now because of the teardown time.
