Hi. Ive been wanting to do this for quite a while but my world builder does not open.

I have asked in the chat box a couple of time but no one seems to know.

Is there something I need to download in order for the world builder to work?

Im at work right now but I can reply with any requested details in about 4 hours.

Someone help me so I can get it out of my system please.

I had this same issue awhile back, if you happen to be on windows 7, take all the windows updates.

Windows updates did not work (although a few failed, I will let it try again tonight)

Is my worldbuilder exe supposed to look like this though?

It looked like this on my previous PC as well, but did not work either.

Any more tips?

The exe is supposed to look like that. Have you tried running the exe in administrator mode? It might be trying to access some files marked read only, and thus crashes without notice when you start it up. If that doesn't work, then try downloading the tools from your Steam Client. Library -> Tools -> Search for Company of Heroes 2 Tools. That may help.

It might be that you have an out of date .NET Framework installed. Updating may solve the problem. It worked for some people with the same error code you had, over on the Official Forums.

.net framework did not work, neither did the tools download (the 200 megabyte one, not the 20 gig, I dont imagine you meant that one?)

I can run coh2 mod builder, but not world builder.

Ill try the rest of the windows updates tonight.

Finnish up some more windows updates fixed my problem, now I dont know what im doing! Lol, thanks for the help.

I have my directories set up correctly, but now, when I say ''create new MP map'' nothing happens..

I have this log though if anyone can decipher it and possibly advise?
