I'm looking for three maps to be voted on for the third place decider match in my ongoing Flexi Time Championships tourney (brackets).

What three 1v1 maps aren't in the game currently, but have the most credibility as future contenders?

I'd love to use one of them as the map for the third place play off

Please share :)

There's really only three mappers who really gets the necessary feedback loop to iterate on a level to get them a "tourney standard", they are MonolithicBacon, STAHLHAGEL and Tobeh,
but there decently are more mappers who a willing to iterate on a level to get them a "tourney standard".

Thanks for the reply dude, so we're not aware of any of these guys maps that might want to be played upon by decent ranked players in a tourney? To help with iteration?

Iteration is the act of repeating a process with the aim of approaching a desired goal, target or result.

When applied to level-design the workflow looks something like this:
(This is how i work at least)
  • Gather feedback related to X*.
  • Compile the feedback on subject X* to usable data.
  • Use the gathered data/feedback to make X* changes to the map/level.
  • Release the updated version.
  • Repeat the workflow-cycle until the goal of X* is achieved.

* As an example in this chase X = competitive multiplayer balance.
Logical the more data you can compile the more successful the iteration(workflow-cycle).

Sadly I'm too busy with my own projects to thoroughly inspect the competitiveness of their works, but they all skilled level-designers that receives feedback on quite reliable basis.

If you send them a message they might can point you in the right direction to one of their more competitive maps that has not been featured in coh2.

ps. Here's a few of my own maps that might in a competitive 1v1.

(2 - 4) Sottevast River Docks

(2 - 8) Kurland Mire

Thanks for your recommendations IronMedic, unfortunately because I'm low on time and resources I'm just gonna give Argentan Crossroads a spotlight, because I know that's had a lot of iterative testing already in CoH1, and had a good chance of getting into automatch rotation if we push for it.
