Axis team game strategy

I had the luxury of being gone for training for the brits initial release and til about a week ago. I don't feel much issue playing 1v1 but when i go into the fun mode (4v4, 3v3) I just don't know what to do with axis anymore. It just feels overwhelming. The combination between the brits, SU, and USF just seems to pimp slap the teams I've been on. I've changed nothing about my play style other than I actually build and IEG (two if its an urban map or heavy emplacements) I also tend to go t2 last now as that building seems to be a waste atm. I know that AT will always beat randoms (usually) but what is the current axis meta? I clearly have been out the loop too long.I typically go OKW right now as it's more simplified and less frustrating than relying on weapon teams (OST) that get wiped easily around mid game-late. I see alot of players going OKW too, I dont see a large number of OST in team games like I used to.
I see either full okw or 1 ost and 3 okw mostly.

Also try to be very aggressive with your mates in early game in order to win fast. You can not fight allies armour cost effectively in late game, especially the British tanks.
Unless you have a lot of experience and know the most different strategies, situations & maps by heart you will have a hard time.

my advice is use FHT against brits, only counter that punishes you is AEC car, which many Brit players absolutely hate using, so you can get alot of kills/territory back with its first apperance.
Never build Panzer 4, always stugs (plural) because Stugs will always penetrate KVs Centuar Easy 8s etc, P4 will not.

How is building one LEIG a problem? The thing was so useless I sued to not even use it, it seems to actually make an impact now
There is no perfect strategy right now for axis that you can follow which ensures wins. Situation has changed with the last patches. You have to react to your opponent and have counters ready in time.

Playing Axis right now in any mode is not recommended if its for fun.

SO for OST your saying stugs- into panthers. What about okw? from what I've seen the only worthwhile vehicles are the, luchs, panther, and stuka.

Depends on the skill level, usually the pak43 gets instantly destroyed by offmaps. Also the doctrine kinda invites you to turtle in - you want to omit that, you want an aggressive map presence, not just focus on one spot.
In 2vs2 I usually veto any map that has bottlenecks or is too packed(tros ponts, düsseldorf, semoski winter, ettelbrück, lierneux), because you can't flank and spread your units on such maps and most importantly you can't dodge arty on such maps.

Panther is useless with low dps and tulips.Panzer 4 is useless.Tiger has to be escorted.King tiger is useless.(DO NOT BUILD UNLESS U WANT TO LOSE FOR SURE-totally worthless tank that will get knocked out by tulips,bombing run without being ab le to do anything)
Ostwind is useless.Puma is useless after a while.Stuka is useless for cost.Brumbarr is useless.
Stug is usefull but has trouble vs heavy armour and pathing.
Jagdtiger is good if u can get 1.
Minespam throughout the game is important as u can't stop the allied tide without slowing them down.
Focus on basic essential vehicles -Stug,JP4,Panzerwerfer(the only real improvement)
Optional - Tiger,pak43,panther(rare due to brutal cost and shit dps),jagdtigerCommand pz 4 is helpful if u can afford.
But ur biggest problem is allied infantry blobs against which lategame axis is currently defenceless.Just hope they make mistakes.If they play competently there is nothing u can do.If u work well early together,mg42 and leig combo can cause some dmg.
Volks useless,grens useless after midgame,pzgrens are surprisingly tolerable after reinforce cost change but only upto midgame,once allied inf vetted can't help you.Mg42 is saviour early ,but less useful later.
Fallschirms worthless except as gimmick.Obers way too costly and too long reinforce for their current performance.Only pzfusiliers somehwat cost-effective.Kubel is shit.Wehr mortar is now ordinary,so just rely on Leig of okw.Flaktrack not worth it,222 is a not potent enough.Stug E nerfed.
Sniper is good ,but heavy babysitting unit-as ur army grows and indirect fire sources increase it becomes very difficult.

Here are my recommendations when playing Wehr:
MG, Gren, Mortar or Gren, Gren, MG if heavy inf play, T2, AC or HT, Pak, decide from here. If against Brits T3 is very attractive for Stugs. If playing a more static game consider pushing on to T4 and getting Werfers.
As Wehr your goal is to set up a nice forward line and then creep forward with MG support until you reach the Brit lines. At this point dig in and continue to bleed them with mortars while getting armor. If you reach the very late game get an Elephant or use air support to bleed away vet squads/tanks, and keep the VP's in contention. Once the opposing player is well bled you can make a concerted push. USF is still weaker as the game drags on, and Soviet players have limited access to good on map arty right now.
Commanders: Anything with MTHT, consider commanders with LeFHs. Always bring Jaeger armor, CAS is a nice one to have, Ostruppen can be effective, Assualt Gren is also nice on some maps.
My recommendations for OKW:
Kubel or Volks, Volks, Med (or Mech if you have a real strat laid out), ISG if med, Puma if Mech. From here the options really start to open up since you will have many opportunities. If winning get the Schwer quickly and cement the win. If losing continue to get Volks to limit MP bleed and provide some AT base.
Use of the still broken JPIV is always nice. Luchs are very hard to get your monies worth. Panther is ok, PIV is flat out nasty if you can keep it alive. Obers are ok, but you must micro them. Falls are still not worth it, Jaegers or ok, Fusiliers are amazing.
Be careful about using the expensive Volks grenade. Use it only when you can kill models.
KT's are powerful but you will want to build them only if you can support them. They now have longer range than other stock tanks.
I find the OKW particularly dependent on JT in the late game, or possibly a vet Command Panther. The JT will help hold a VP freeing up at least one other player to push on another VP. This will turn the game into a 2v1 somewhere in your favor. There off maps are still underwhelming, but you should be able to convert large amounts of fuel in the late game to munitions.
Make sure you keep your HQ's a little spread out, and be careful with your vet units, they are critical to your late game.
Commanders: JT and CmdPanther, Defensive commander is also good, ST is possible, Salvage commander not usually but maybe.
