Comet Vet 1 "White Phosphorus"

If this is going to replace "Smoke Barrage", it should be a net upgrade and provide the same vision blocking capability in addition to the white phosphorus effect.

As it is, I would much much much rather have the smoke barrage than this.

I just want a pop-out smoke like Axis faction, the smoke/phosphorus are bugged and not functional at 8 out of 10 time I use it.

It has 70 range and kills units, please reduce range and lethality

White phosphorous can't kill anything in coh2, it just damages, but doesn't kill.
One would think 16 months is enough to notice that.

If you bothered playing the game and actually using british phos shells, you'd know they kill targets.

The ability is way too strong, having next to no cooldown and 70 range- it denies team weapons really easily from too long a range to respond to, and is cheap enough to be spammable. It seems to work 100% of the time if the comet is standing still / given stop order? before the phos / smoke shell order is given.

You sure it does and not the comet MGs once the entities get down to 1hp, same as any other WP based ability in game?

yea. i am not sure what the heck is up with white phosphorus.

it blocks vision sometime and sometime it seems like it does not and another time, you can see units within the smoke even without vision.

this ability is ridiculously OP. It would be nice if it were made more reliable in conjunction with the nerfs it deserves.

Probably due to the fact that the DOT WP from the Comet can cause criticals and death I think requires a model to receive the death critical.

Its critical is set to 'true' USF WP is set to 'false'.

As for the ability, like the grenades for these tanks, make them more reliable and reduce Comet WP range to its base firing range.

White phosphorous actually fires on the move only 50% of the time.

On the other hand, it is blatantly OP, bringing AT guns to 10% hp while making them unable to fire, having 70 range and essentially making the Comet an Anti-Infantry Elefant. It also costs only 15 muni and has a separate reload speed from the main gun.

It appears that it can cause a death crit. Need someone to confirm it.

It's britz it is intended. Just look at the sniper who could kill retreating squads 100%, their wp can crit and thus wipe a squad, centaurs insta gibbing everything, their at gun a pak with a 50% modifier and many more. Check out Cruzz Bugs List, there are so many small things which got taken away from every other faction. Its really obv that brits got Released uber op and it needs another 1-2 Patches of nerfs to bring them inline.

http://imgur.com/a/tcMAj Unless the Comet's MGs autofire on friendly units while on vehicle prioritize, causing soldiers to scream and burn to death, I highly doubt so.

white phos effect lasts for about 7 seconds, and brings a fully healthy soldier down to about 20%HP.

Units visible in WP even without LOS is consistent with the rest of the game - units taking damage from you or dealing damage to you are visible to you. This is separate from LOS calculations. So this is not a bug but can definitely be confusing on a vision obscuring ability that also damages.

From what I know WP should obscure vision 100% of the time, if it does not, it's a separate bug.

The death crit should be removed.

The range on the ability should be toned down because it makes zero sense and has no ingame justification at all.

It would explain why it cost 15 ammo, same as molo, go rename the ability to "HSML" ( high speed molotov launcher )
