How much RAM did your computer use while playing CoH2? Is it over 8GB?
I like to ask because I have to decide if I like to upgrade my RAM from 8GB into 16GB, will there be some improvement?
Asking if you have 16GB RAM or more

16gb ram is overkill, if you are having problems with 8gb then its probably your GPU. If you have a good GPU then make sure the drivers are updated and then PM iant with a copy paste of your dxdiag if you are still having trouble.

I have 16GB ram, just cuz it was the type of thing where it was 15- 20 bucks more at the time on whatever site, and I figured it might be utilized more in the future. Currently, it makes a minimal difference.

Actually I have no problem anymore, just curious if 16GB RAM would boost up some performance. If no, I wait for SALE.
Thanks

I have 12 GB (don't ask) and I'm having problems using them up.
I've not seen it reach more than 66% (or 8 GB) ever even while running a virtual machine (running Linux Mint), a game, Firefox with many tabs (and a game using websockets in one of the tabs) and many other programs.
Post your other specs and I might be able to tell what's dragging your system down.
8 GB should be more than sufficient to run most games on the market.

As above, more than 8 is useless unless you do lots of vid/photoediting or run multiple VMs.

When i run CoH2 i usually use around 4,12 ram so yeah 8 is way enough.
16 is just overkill exept your doing video photo editing liek the guy above said.

I noticed around 7 used yesterday having the game alongside other stuff open. If I didn't have 16, I would most likely lag during alt-tabs which I really enjoy not having anymore. There's no way you need that much to run the game smoothly though.
