5 man grens and pgrens will need a dps nerf. Ost already have some of the best infantry in the game

since i don't own the commander i don't know exactly how it works, but doesn't it get grens only to vet2? i'd have to look it up again, but i thought it gives a set amount of XP, which gets different units to different veterancy levels.

still: both commanders are utterly broken and don't belong in the game.

Grens getting 3 vet pzgrens 2 vet. Imo no buffs for both squds needed. Grens are fine inf killers they are supposed to be glasscanon, they aren't meatsield. Pzgrens fine elite inf squad. Just stop crying guys.

2-Grens are fine. I advocate that PG needs a vet adjustment.

I don't see the problem with Panzergrens, they feel just right imo.

G43's could use a buff, that's about it.


1- PG could see their vet2 buffs spread out with vet1. Performance gap between vet0 and vet 2 is huge,

2- G43 are fine on Grens. They needs a different role on PGs.

I'm in favour of giving PG's a single Jäger G43 instead. Grenadier version is indeed fine as-is.

If they just gave sight like PFs' G43s I'd probably get at least one.

Still be an upgrade with pretty noticeable disadvantages...but hey, sight!

grens are useless late game. mgs are useless late game. ostwinds/p4s get countered by every medium tank or a single AT gun. there is no way for ostheer to handle a late game blob with veterancy.

grens do not need a 5th man. with the lmg upgrade. they dominate on open maps and they have great vet.
P Grens are quite good. its just that no1 notices it cause they always upgrade them to double shrecks

Assault grens on the other hand. thats where the love should go

They don't need a fifth man. That said, I think their veterancy bonuses should be on-par with Allied infantry units. Riflemen have much better bonuses right now, and I'm not sure that should be the case.

First off, the vet buffs didn't increase DPS. Second, removing that would be like just removing Cons' Oorah! - it is incredibly defining to the unit.

Grenadiers already get huge vet2 and vet3 bonusses. They are not very durable but if you keep them healed and retreat soon enough with secured retreat path ...


Which means they cannot stay in the fight and give ground EARLIER or GET WIPED. Either way they are more ineffective. Thanks for making our point....

grenadier get medkit at vet1. With enough munition and a halftrack axis can stay on the field as long as they don't retreat.


20 munition per medkit is a bit expensive, however. 15 or 10 mu for medkit would be a better price for them.

But the Allies (Brits excepted) also tend to have numerical superiority, especially relative to the Wehrmacht.
