KV8 and KV1 excluded from 1-on the field heavy limit?

Delaying it maybe, but certainly not limited to one at a time. The Churchill Croc can use both weapons at the same time and it's main gun is a threat to medium armour. That's why that tank should stay limited to one. The KV8 is not in the same league.

Outside the Flamethrower, their 45 mm cannon sucks very badly. Hell, I'd rather see the flame damage get looked at first because I do agree the flames are rather overpowered. Perhaps the AOE is too wide?

You pay for a tank that does his job and only his job (hardcounter infantery position).
The tank die to anything bigger or equal to a puma and pose absolutly no threat to armor - open field for P4.
You punish an opponent that rely solely on ATgunz to deal with metal boxes armor.
Having one is very good, having two is redundant. No need to restrict anything.

You should spend more time in the strategy section than in the balance/whine section.
You would be FAR more prodctive trying to adapt to the game than trying to change the game.
(The balance of the game has never been that good at the moment)

KV8 should not be delayed cuz sovs have absolutely 0 capable tanks in their tech tree. Not even single decent medium like p4. So they are bound to get callins and ATGs or callins and TD

KV-1 should get reworked before we think about limiting it to 1. KV-8 should get limited to 1 for how strong it is right now, but dont increase its CP.

KV-8 especially with its low armor for a heavy tank.

But don't worry, Relic already promissed some love for KV tanks so they become proper heavies instead of glorified meds :megusta:

Indeed gotta apologize for calling the KV1 a heavy. But the KV8 is still an OKW eater beast and should be limited. And yeah 9CP is way too early. Even 10 or 11 would be better.

@The guy who said nerf it instead of delay/limit. I disagree with that, it is finally usefull, but 2 of them escorting an IS2 is a little bit stupid and should be changed.

It has 800hp, but still double kv8 is a hell for any axis player. Kv8 should be limited to one, kv1 not so much. The KV1 has 800hp and the same horrible gun as the t34-76, don't see why that should be limited.

KV-8 is cheaper, more mobile and has a flamer turret. Also KV-8 spam in general is just no fun allowed to play against as OKW, the limit would fix this.

KV-1 is fine.

KV-8 might be strong at the moment, but in theory when it's balanced no more significant than a panther. The heavy tank limit is for super heavies, not basic heavies of which there is a large difference between.

Too many people overreact to momentary imbalances. Most of the balance problems in game currently can be dealt with using simple stat adjustments.

Its another unit that people use when they have no skill because its the only way for a cheese squad wipe, like the crock, it will be nerfed. You have to be completely blind to think this unit is fine.

So your propaganda worked to make the Kv8 even more OP? WP.

Only the KV-1 needs some sort of love, right now the Kv8 is just insane, rekts every and all infantry + AT on the field in 3 secs.

Oh wait...if we are talking about buffs, lets buff the Flamer HT, WASP, Ostwind, Brummbar (which should be better than the Kv8 if we look at the cost of the unit.....fun fact it's not!).

The only Kv8 armor buff can only work if the damage is reduced.

Considering that A single KV8 burns a whole faction in the blink of an eye, why should ir be excluded from the limit? Does the IS2 need support by 2 broken flamers? The KV8 needs to be delayed to 12 CP and only one in game, same as the crocodile.


If you opponent has gone Shock Rifle and is spending his fuel on two KV-8s and then an IS-2 I have to ask what sort of armour you have that can't handle the IS-2, as the KV-8s will contribute basically nothing to an armour battle

4xR43 + Vet5 JPIV. KVs wipe out the puppchens while shocks, Is2, 3xinvisible Zis and flame arty take care of the rest.
