luchs is totally fine. but i wouldn't mind a smokescreen comes with an upgrade.


Not sure if i would buy such an upgrade, your munitions already have plenty of uses as OKW.
But i like the idea.

I think it would really help if the Luchs was given a larger cloak detection range. I feel like it's one of the OKW's only reliable counters to snipers, and with brit snipers being used so often these days, it would really help to counter them more effectively. The same can be said about commandos.

I'm just having a really hard time dealing with brit snipers as OKW. The manpower bleed is insane, and I just cannot find a way to kill them aside from getting out an early luchs, and even that isn't a true counter considering the brit sniper has a vet0 engine damage snare (which honestly really needs to be moved to vet 1 at least!).

Once you get the Luchs some veterancy though, it kills infantry really nicely.

Yah, how many times have you managed to get them to vet5? Hell or vet3 even?

Well of course, it's hard to get any OKW unit to vet 5 aside from volks.

But yeah I do kinda agree that at vet 0 it's AI performance is pretty laughable, considering it's a purely AI tank. The T-70, while much more expensive, kills infantry at a much higher rate in comparison.

I actualy manage to make it worth it quite frequently, when I buy it. The secret is really not extending, doing hit-an-run tactics and grabbing any opportunity to really abuse it, when you know the enemy doesn't have any AT.

TL;DR: don't garden up
