I've got all my paths up to date in Coh2 wb options, but I keep receiving this error code during build:
Error rebuilding bnw b's.mod: C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_51\bin\java.exe failed with exit code 2.
Error exit code 2

We need more information.
What kind of mod are you making?
What tutorials have you followed?
What changes are in your mod?
Etc.

Well, I meant to ask because that could be the issue. Try removing it, or the burn settings, and see if that helps.

Nope, this has something to do with Java. I'm getting the same error code. Could this be that i was using an outdated java version when I installed world builder?
-I ended up updating java after the fact and designating the new versions file path. Could it be that the world builder program is still searching for the old file path due to it being the original it was installed under?

Still no luck, I went through after deleting the mod tool and redid everything step by step. Still getting the same error code involving java. Is there a possible issues with this mod builder not cooperating with certain java versions during the build prcoess?

Make sure your Java path exists, has a bin folder with Java.exe inside. It might help to install 64-bit Java if you have a 64-bit Operating System (and do not already have 64-bit Java).
As for the error, it does not necessarily mean that Java is the issue, because the Mod Builder uses Java in the build process. It could mean something else in the pipeline caused Java to spit out an error. If that is the case, it could be something you have done with your mod.
Also, follow this tutorial and see if it helps you build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p66hb4xGg68
