Such unit like Sturmtiger breaks the game. It one shot killes everything. Especially annoying when it hides behind some building or thick trees and wipes capping inf. There is no chance to survives when it hits and when it hits it kills anything in one shot.

It's in a shitty doctrine and comes rather late (11CPs).

All you need is a unit with good LoS (Pathfinders, M20s, M3s, T-70/Reconmode) to spot it.

Good players will try to hide it behind shot blockers somewhere. You should send a recon plane before you push to see where it is.

It's helpless when it gets attacked and useless vs mobile units.

It's fine.

Do you think that is a good idea to give Sturmtiger the possibility to pass buildings? Yesterday I had the opportunity to play a 4v4 with my friends and it was a little frustrating. "Silent" unit who wipes squads in every single shoot.

I understand that the unit must have some advantage but if we think, is the rarest unit in CoH2.


I think Sturmtiger should not pass through buildings because it is a bit frustrating to see this unit in an allies perspective way.

Then in the same logic, ISU shouldn't one-shot wipe infantry squad at 70 range when the axis players also can't see it. (dont forget ISU gets concrete piercing shot as well.)

Yes sure, I totally agree with you about ISU but in this case I still think that you have a huge advantage in teams games with a single sturmtiger and mates supporting you.
