It's seems that it didn't work sometimes, you spend mu, ability get cooldown status, but there is no flare.

Was it at the edge of the range? I know there was a bug on mortars in alpha that caused their abilities to freeze if used at the furthest point like when you tried to tell them to move into range and use it. Might be a similar bug.

I can't say it for sure, but it is quite likely so.

Used it, fired flare without issue.
The real problem was me going "for what effing reason would I ever want to do that ever again???"

idk, seeing your enemies positioning and having the ability to call in off maps with flares is pretty useful

yeah, there is a HUGE amount of synergy and information potential with flare, especially on the 120 with its range

I can't say I've encountered that bug before but the flare sure does take a while to arrive sometimes.
Incidentally it's a great ability in team games. The added recon is very useful when dealing with MG walls.

In case nobody caught this, it seems that the 82mm and 120mm share the same flare. In other words, the 120mm doesn't fire them any further than the 82mm.

I certainly hope that was just an oversight by Relic.

Considering they started with sniper flare?
Quite likely.
