Since I never played the alpha I can only compare what's to come with what is there now. If blob strats are crippled as a result of the HMG buff, I'm going to be happy to play the game once again. Especially when you add to that the hard limit on heavy vehicles.

You said the Soviet player can field 6 T34/85s when you could field one Tiger. If THAT was the case you had been outplayed severely, as he has had access to a lot of fuel and excess manpower.

I brought up the two panthers scenario, to illustrate what you COULD have done, if you were NOT completely outplayed and is sitting on a lot of resources, equal to the resources the Soviet player who fielded SIC T34/85s.

So either you didn't read what I said or you are intentionally diverting.

I think that the soviet advantage is quite obvious if you realy want to see it and several people stated the same. But allright, have it your way. The game will prove you wrong, I am 100% of this so no point in arguing.

4 t34-85s plus marked target is dead stug g. If it makes a tiger useless, you bet stug g won't fair any better.

Best quote yet! Thats like saying 4 M3s with overdrive is a dead sniper hahahahha

A Tiger and three Stugs should be able to beat 4 T34/85s. Throw in an AT gun or Two. But really, I have hardly faced four T 34/85s in a 1v1 unless I have done really bad in that match

Its very very easy to field 4 T34/85s in 1v1, all you have to do is apply a little pressure with first 2 but do not overextend and risk losing them. Even at top level play it happens ALL the time.

Still have to wait for my opponent to make mistakes otherwise #skillguardmotor is a rape fest on equal skill level... *sigh Relic.

If you think you'll get Stugs against 85s; lemme remind you: Soviets outcap axis hard and Zis is in T2...good luck and let the Soviet regime continue.

Keep fighting fanboyz;. this is the forum.

I just asked you why you made the statement relating 6 T34/85's to 2 Panthers. Since obviously the 2 Panthers aren't going to win and are quite expensive.

Regardless the issue remains that every faction but Soviets has to pay the price of teching in order to access their best units which isn't appropriate.

I don't understand what is the problem with guard motor ?

No more than 1 heavy change nothing for 1 vs 1 and maybe 2 vs 2 too.

Build 2 tiger was stupid, the result is a broken manpower income and only 3 infantery maybe for support.

Like launch 4t-34/85s is stupid too, you have no more infantery for support your tanks.

Heavy motar got nerf, it's normal that he cost 340 mp now ... anyway bla bla bla

Stug G and SU-76 is the problem, not guard motor. :thumb:

So, I see you have met alex, the axis fanboys propaganda minister.

Mission failed.

It'll change much for ost and OKW.

It'll change nothing for sov and USF, because the changes that actually had an impact on these armies were postponed until god knows when(because relic certainly does not...). Still an improvement to NOT have to fight double IS-2 or ISU from the same player, in this pov, it does encourage combined arms and stock units by forcing you to use them-they are still as bad as they were though.

Gief the tier changes :guyokay:

Can't wait for the patch, seems great. It is just good that the alpha changes will be implemented in several patches, so they can fine tune the changes they release earlier in the 2nd patch.

As a side note it seems that no patch will ever make the forums happy. If relic did exactly what they'd want there would still probably be rioting.

Ah you caught me, every time before me and my 2's partners play we recite the Nationalist Socialist anthem and pray 3 times towards Berlin. I get payed by the Gestapo to post here.

What can I tell.
If someone speaks utter bs he will be called out.
Its not political forum, but a gaming one, only so much misinformation, false facts and personal agendas can go around here.

Combined arms ... yeah, guards, 120mm and t34/85

Seriously, I realy was hoping for a patch that makes me want to play this game more often, but that hope is gone now. Can´t have fun when you see the same "tactic" used in pretty much every game, or being forced to use the same commander over and over.

Atleast there is still the steam summersale so I can buy something else more entertaining for a few bucks...
I don´t buy relics "future-patch" crap anymore.

With the risk of being banned, where can I learn more about the "legit" alpha changes? I never got in, and at the time I wasn't all to fired up, but now all this talk has gotten me really horny about the changes.

I don't need to know anything about the brits but where can I find them juicy patch note leaks?

Tried googling it but it seems I was late to the party, can anyone tell me about them on some other forum or would that be a horrible breach that'll get you permabanned?

Rather silly keeping the info on such a lockdown to be honest. I can't handle waiting months wandering in the dark, damn it relic.

Nothing leaked, official patch notes can be found here:

(Edit: Alpha is Alpha, meaning stuff constantly changes. You can assume that the official patch notes are based on a lot of different Alpha patches)

No mate, I'm wondering about the changes that didn't make it into this patch, you know the ones that allegedly fix the game?

Heard rumors about units being switched around between buildings and something about USF having other options than rifle spam early game etc.
