How did he watched 1000 games, made sure there are no AT teams so his "RT only" is valid, ...

RANDOM 2v2s, as in he randomly picked them.
Including ATs and actual random lineups.

Imbalances due MM shouldn't cause any issues with such a sample size, IF the data is proper (which is still doubt).

Thats not any kind of data at all.

There is too much data and variables to believe any other data then that provided directly by relic sadly.
What happened to Legends and his data compilations from relic?

The vast majority of games end before 20-30 minutes, so it's not really that absurd considering if you account for drops, surrenders, loss of connection, ect.

He also didn't specify randoms, he specified he looked at only random matches.

I think a lot of people ITT are squirming because this data breaks the narrative that Axis are OP.

notices its random data from a guy on reddit

I have learned two things today

1. axis lovers are trying to grab on to anything to prove that their beloved factions are underperforming

2. some people need to get a life

inb4 shut up queen! this is raw data!

my reaction. if its not from relic it doesn't matter

Aye, the key thing we have to look at is "random matches", and the size of sampling. If indeed the Reddit OP is telling the truth, then it's safe to say that Allies are actually winning more often in 2v2s.

Nice developer worship brah
Are they your Pope, infallible in matters of balance and stats?!?
IMO Teamliquid staff > StarCraft 2 devs in terms of game design.
That aside, just because they are dev does not mean they are right. Sakurai wasn't right about a lot of things in Smash.
Also, preemptive bias against it due to being on Reddit. You never know, smart / honest people may crop up in all number of places.
Queen so prejudiced.
END THE H8

I'm sorry for judging you, QueenRatchet.
Thank you for subjecting yourself to our uninformedness of your true allegiances.
It makes useful rhetorical tool against those that might come after / before you.

I want to see real relic stats not a random reddit post

So we are good with legends stats when he proved axis had an advantage, now that the terms have flipped we need 'real' data.

I will only note that he doesn't watch everysingle game, he just waits for the scorecreen on most of them.

That was a 12000 game sample without human interaction on picking the games.
I'll say double SU have the edge on 2v2 but not by such a huge margin.

Sample size and methodolgy seems quite ok, but there should be actual documentation.
That said, data seems somewhat plausible. 2v2 has been Soviet territory since quite a few patches.

12,000 is wayyyy more than you would need for a sample size. Also it was across several game modes if I remember correctly. Not just 2v2.

You're a veteran player, was this data honestly surprising to you?

Man, watch1000 GAMES even at x8 speed...
I REALLY doubt you did it.
And if you really did it, you have some serious troubles.

There is a guy here who does some stats directly from Relic data, way much accurate and serious than your smelly study

The amount of hand wringing about this in combination with the amount of melt downs people had in the Allies/Axis 4v4 thread when the OP stated the large win streaks being accrued by Allied AT's tells me I was fairly on point that people are bitter from the old OKW days and Tiger Ace days and will continue to harp that Axis are OP until the end of days.

We'll still be good with legends data if relic allows him to post recent one.
His sample was much more accurate as it was data straight from relic.

Relic get's data the same way the dude in the OP did. Blind reporting on win rates without focusing on a particular skill bracket or organization of players.

Relic gets number from battle servers -> reports numbers

Dude watches game sped up until the end -> reports numbers

The end result is the same, one just takes longer. Theoretically you could simply code a bot program to watch matches all day every day and report who won with little effort required and no connections to Relic needed.

When and or If Relic releases their numbers, I doubt they will be much more different than the OP if they count the same things he did such as drops.
