Hey people. New user here. And i was unsure where to post this since i don't know if it is a bug or intended, but here goes.
When using the maxim i have several times experienced when retreating the gunner gets killed then the rest of the squads stays there one runs up to get the maxim gets killed and so it continues until the squad is wiped. as stated earlier not sure if this is intended but can be frustrating especially when the other mg teams have teleporting mgs...

It's been in since beta and is much of a joke now as it was then.
Best if you can catch the first maxim an opponent builds in the game with Sturmpios. At point bank it's just doomed.
Welcome to playing the soviets. Both the maxim and 120mm have to deal with this when no other MG or mortar does. The only other thing that suffers in a similar way is the Racketenwerfer IIRC.

It's almost like it's a problem unique to wheeled carriages, and not a faction...
Also the 120 makes up for it by being able to sprint away with only 1 man which no other mortar can do.
