Budwise or anyone! just looking to see if i can upgrade and get any more performance besides a gpu! I have a i7 930 @ 3.5ghz 12 gb mushkin redlines, 2 ssd drives 1 w.d. black drive 900 watt corsair psu! prolimatech cpu cooler. 2 gtx 470's in sli. No lag or problems running coh 2. just wanted to know if it was time to possibly upgrade some components! or just wait another generation or so?

Ultimately if you're playing the game to make it so it's not enjoyable for other people to be playing the game then we'd rather you not play the game. Sure, be competitive and try to win but if your goal is to troll then go play Call of Duty.

wait, that CPU will be fine for a while yet, you could go to a 7 series nVidia so save power/heat and get a little more performance over your 470 SLI but it's probably not worth it.

Just wait and save, it will be another year or so when the new consoles are up and running that we see current PC hardware get stretched, unless you are running 2560x1600 and want to run Metro with everything turned on.

Well 1 more! bud what about a gpu? I like nvidia but everyone seems to be getting amd! how is their crossfire vs sli? or is there a gpu that rocks in single configuration. my 2 gtx 470's are really powerful, also I like nvidias drivers compared to what I have heard for AMD!

Id recommend never going SLI or Crossfire honestly. Get the single most powerful GPU you can afford and thats it really.

If your dual 470's are working for the games you want at the settings you want then leave them alone for now. Wait until AMD releases their new 8000 series to make any moves.

I'd wait before getting a SLI or Crossfire if the main reason for that upgrade is COH2. COH2 currently does not support SLI/Crossfire and I don't know if it will be supported at all. (which doesn't mean it won't but that I don't know)

So which is a better card or better company or better architecture? I have been nVidia for as far as I can remember! basically is AMD or nVidia better! I know this is broad but wanna know what community thinks!

Right now the best card for the money is the GTX 760 or the AMD HD 7970. Either are fine cards but neither are "next generation". But for the price point they're at they're very good. Again, unless your 470's are not playing something at the levels you want id still wait.
