Now that the patch is out and Relic has given us a kind-of roadmap, I wonder if we can step back a sec and discuss Relic and Coh2 going forward, taking into account their need to create revenue with our hopes and wants for the future of the franchise.
The reality is that Relic simply doesn't move that quickly in supporting/updating this game, but this is no doubt a direct consequence of the failure to fully monetize it and/or create a product with a huge player base. We all know some of the reasons (and design issues with the game), but Relic's relative opacity leaves me wondering what their long-term though are, or even if they have the capacity to keep creating (and supporting) great strategy games.
So what do we think is a viable path forward for this game (and franchise) that can realistically provide enough revenue to support the game and allow for constant tweaks and improvements? And is there anything the community can do to help make this happen?

well, they can go the visual DLC route and add lots of flavour things to tanks such as textures, decorative objects (sandbags on shermans, shit tons of antennas, etc), they can release more ToW, and they can release more factions.
i think visual stuff would be a nice way to do it (see the DoW2 rank bonuses for what i mean)

Visual DLC brings a lot of money: look MOBA's, i don't understand why they dont choose this one instead of DLC changing gameplay, or they could do both.
