Hey guys , I would want to recommend 1 movie and 1 documentary for COH mates. Enemy at the gates by Judd law, Joseph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz.
The documentary is named Apocalypse: The Second World war=D

I can recommend a good book, Sniper on the eastern front by Sepp Allerberger,get it from your regular .epub supplier

Enemy at the Gates is crap - it's sad to see former Western Allies making movies like that.

Recommend this:
1. Brest Fortress (2010) - little silly and slow sometimes but has good battle scenes and authenticity. I think it's the most watchable Russian WW2 movie for westerner ;)
2. Voskhozhdeniye (1977) - I bet you don't know about it but this movie is really great. Not so much battle scenes but story and atmosphere are amazing.

Bonus - niiice WW2 Eastern Front action scene (hooking to COH2 perfectly), movie is shit although - http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=rgZeFixPJNU#t=5032s

I read Beevor's "Stalingrad" - great book, his book about Berlin is waaay worse.

Beevor is a great author, Stalingrad was a good book but his latest book about WW2 in general was phenomenal.

Is there a list of russian/soviet WWII movies in english? Some of these are quite good but very unknown to westeners. There are some polish movies too, but also lack of language makes it hard to search for these ones.

The best documentary about the Ostfront, Stalingrad en Barbarossa for me is the BBC-documentary 'War of the Century'.
