I have to agree with Napalm conditionally.

Sittard is fun when you have 4 drunk bears doing random shit like 4x CAS or 4x B4 or have 2x INfantry company and get them to dismount their priests so you have like 20 priests

It's not fun when you're actually trying, even a teeny weeny bit, to actually play company of heroes 2

This map making it into the rotation ahead of redball is pretty sad. I get that redball was released fairly recently, but shit that map is so polished. It's the best competitive 3v3 map available, and instead they give us a fucking comp stomp map in automatch...BLECH.
They released Redball?When!?I loved that map in coh1

IMHO Sittard is like a singleplayer mission with real people as opponents,because I set myself a mission:can you break the stalemate before people can entrench themselves too hard?If you see it that way it's very rewarding when at 20 mins you are in the enemy base because the enemy invested too much on arty and you made a well thought out assault and pushed through with it.Tho this is possible only with organized teams,randoms will most likely just go for arty

It's not really appropriate for auto-match. If Rostov was bad, I have no idea why this isn't..

I am so confused by this thread. I have played this map about 5 or 6 times now and so far the game has been over long before Priests even came out every single time. Get across the bridges from the very start of the game, establish a beachhead on the other side, and the game is over long before any heavy tanks can come out. The biggest tank you should ever see on this map is a panther, or you are doing it wrong.

Yep. Relic please remove this map from the automatch!
Although it is very good looking (no offence against the map itself) the map doesn´t belongs to the automatch.
90% of all games are just boring... bombarding each other with op katjuscha

There are some really great maps out there.

It reminds me of the old Schelde...

Even though it can be fun to play this at a custom match, and obviously a lot of works and efforts have been dedicated to create this map, but I can't believe they put it in automatch pool. That's the worst map ever TO BE IN automatch.

I'm going to chime in here and point out what I've been saying to people for a long time now....

There is only 1 Automatch list... whether you play 1s, 2s, 3s or 4s either as teams or randoms, it is the same list. In fact it is the very same list used in Automatch vs AI. (which is in fact where the majority of 3s and 4s get played)

It is not about time that they received some love from Relic too? Does it now make sense as to the possible reasoning behind adding this map to the list?

The argument is not why is this map in the Automatch list the argument is...Why is there not two different Automatch lists. One for each of the different game modes?

I have played this map a couple of times now, although i actually really dislike joke point(<- freud'scher versprecher) maps (hated the sheldt and hochwald gap in coh1) i actually never find my self vetoing this one. Imho it takes the right commanders and good teamplay to win on sittard, mind less blobbing doesn't work, since arty will wipe those blobs, i like that.
