The AA halftrack will dance all over the corpse and wreckage of sniper and 222.With current tech costs wehrmacht is not viable as a faction.


By that time you should have a pack that will 2 shot it. I have a feeling that OST combined arms is going to have much better synergy what with pioneers field of vision, hmg increased accuracy, sniper survival buff and slightly better 222. I think they will become my favourite faction.

I'm going to try 3x grenadiers, mg42, sniper, mortar, tier up, 222 followed by pak for early game as ost vs Usf. Sniper should really bleed rifles now and give grenadiers the edge. Mg42 to screen grenadiers and sniper with pioneers up front spotting for enemies and mines, mortar behind mg42 and pak and 222 ready to engage m20 or AA truck.

The LMG34 got nerfed to, and it doesn't change the fact people are just going to spam Fuss and JLI thanks to this lol.

And so it should. Still a very viable weapon, and I'll still enjoy attaching it to my cons after my IS2 destroys your Obers, right after the KT.

I don't mind facing Falls and JLI, at least you can win an engagement if you out micro your opponent. I'm glad to see the back of those mini gun wielding terminators. Hasta La Vista baby.

Ye yes. But no, you will be suffering from heavy MP bleed thanks to grens. Not enough MP for a PAK. It has a ridiculously high ROF anyway, it can't 2 shot anything.

If they really wanted to nerf them this bad they shouldve reduced their price to something like 320 MP and make the lmg34 undroppable, but this... this is retarded :x

Well I only used to make one Ober squad per game so I guess I'll just replace them with FJs or PFs now... sigh.

Because they don't have the same performance. It's the same reason the guy pays 280mp and 120 muni's to try to keep up with Obers (but still loses).

We have pak now,and still struggle heavily vs usf light vehicles.Stop theorycrafting and go out and play then.This faction is dead in terms of competitiveness anyway.It s a meaningless patch for ostheer.

Panther could fend off is-2s and kill it only with support,and could beat jacksons.Now they can't beat jacksons and are only useful for fending off is-2 pushes.With its massive teching and cost its useless.


Panther front armor is 320, new Jackson Pen at max range is 200. 62.5% chance to penetrate, or 75% at close range. With slow rate of fire on the main gun. It takes 4 penetrating hits for the Jackson to kill the Panther. It takes 3 penetrating hits for the Panther to kill the Jackson, and every shot is a guaranteed peneration. Panther is clearly going to win that fight unless you get very unlucky with death crits or the shots missing.

Alex I know you're dismayed but don't spread disinformation, at close range they do same damage, at mid range they will do twice as much dps as rifles and at far 3 times and that's taking into account the Nerf to lmg34. However that is not taking into account the others incoming acc bonuses.

Once again that's not accounting for obers 0.7 incoming acc. True rifles value against them are 20.58, 9.926 and 5.1.

Except even if they preform the same or slightly better they are still 120 MP more expensive, when I'm getting a 4 men expensive unit that's easy to wipe I don't want to have to put up with it only being marginally better than base Rifles due to most engagements taking place at closer rangers. Not to mention the power of 1919 Rifles and 1919 Paras which wasn't touched at all.

OKW deserved to having it's ability to blob reduced, the sorry fact is Relic didn't apply the same logic to USF's blob capabilities.

I will start playing OST more and hopefully bring some replays to you guys, I've always preffered combined arms and now if they are severe underdogs it'll be more satisfying.

Hopefully my allied micro translates over, I'll be playing 1v1s. I genuinely hope OST will be viable this way.
