Invisible Weapons?

Ok, I created a squad and gave them a weapon. Now the weapon doesn't show up in-game. I know with the original CoH you had to edit the .abp file of the unit and add the weapon. However, with CoH2 limitations it appears I cannot do that. So does anyone know of a way around that or a possible fix? Any help is always appreciated.

Ok so this may sound a bit out there. I know you can unpack .sga files. What I'm getting at is it "okay" if I unpack, edit, and re-pack the .sga containing the .abp files? Or is that infringing on some limitations and/or user agreements?

While you are able to do that, the game will detect that you have an invalid file structure and refuse to load your .sga. Not much you can do to get around the lack of .abp files, I'm afraid.

Seems like even though we're given tools, we have to deal with a lot of limitations. I miss the old days of Corsix's Mod Studio. So simple yet so powerful.
