Balancing isn't A patch A OP, B patch B OP, but it's Relic logic anyway.
I won't give a shit to OKW anymore, because next patch they are unplayable. :foreveralone:

Yaaaayyy another thread went down the toilet (balance ShitPosts) .

Anyway, in 1v1 and 2v2, Soviets have a lot of viable options to deal with Schwere panzer HQ. It's a bit tricky with USF, still possible though but harder.

First order of business:
Please, pretty please, with sugar on top ( B-) ) fix the UI indicator.

Then, as said before, reduce armor pen and range.

USF have so many ways to kill it... Mortars, AT gun without resigning from MH and AT mines, cheap pack howie.

And it's not easy even for Soviets.
I saw a game Paula vs Jesulin (I guess) on Kholodny.
Very good etc but that's not the point.

The point is, once Schwerer was built, there was not chance for Jesulin to take cut off.

Once or twice he manage to get fuel but it;s only because Schwerer vision was blocked by trees.

He was not able to kill it, he was not able to cut off, while he did not have anything to prevent his cut off like OKW can.
No place to shoot with AT gun, and mortaring takes ages.

And you want to tell me, that Schwerer is not a problem?


this. whether it is actually balanced, that is not the case for me. it is just bad gameplay wise. suddenly a quarter of the map is inaccessible and you have to go out of your way/risk a lot to kill a "smartly" placed schwerer. i want this "rewards" for teching up removed for both WFA factions and if that cripples either of the factions, give buffs somewhere else.

Come on dude, even if it were THAT BAD (which it is not), they still have a good 2 weeks to balance it out.

The schwerer was buffed after the alpha changes, it's a faction strength of the OKW. But allies fanboys fail to understand that.


Satchels + Smoke requires T1 and T2 and three squads of penals and well over 100 munitions

AT guns require LoS (enjoy getting your spotter murdered) or are going to miss 24/7 and the OKW player has bloody hours to bring troops over to just repair it, or beat off the offensive.

We know damn well it's a strength. What we ask is why the hell they get it for teching when nobody else gets such a thing and it's so much anathema to the game design, ruins gameplay and has no justifiable reason to exist now OKW are not required to lock down sectors for resource income.

Even tanks get ruined by the almighty effort of just placing a Racketenwerfer on perma flack truck guard duty.

Using AT guns to take out shwerer panzer HQ with ground attack is very risky, and also very unreliable. Since alot of maps have alot of random terrain bumps and differences in height,unless you can see the shwerer panzer HQ, it will often hit the ground.


More so, obers will very easily wipe an at gun from the front due to AT gun cover being bugged right now, basically AT gun cover right now does not apply from the front, but only to the sides of the at gun.

Now of course, vet 1 USF at gun ability gives the AT gun 70 range and also 70 field of vision, while smart use of a t-70 + zis-3 can indeed destroy a shwerer panzer HQ. However, this is not easy to coordinate and like i said, can very easily backfire and is a huge risk.

Contrary to popular belief OKW is piss easy to beat if you know how to counter stuff, but this is true of literally every faction in the game so go figure.

It's about micro and proper counter play, If you play better than your OKW opponent you will beat him, that's it.

When you start talking about Obers you imply that you face a combined arms force trying to repel your attack on the schwerer HQ. That's a completely different case. Why shouldn't beat Obers + Schwerer your at gun? If you want to take out combined arms forces, you need some of your own. Schwerer Panzer HQ, don't withstand a combined arms attack.

Also ur advice is even more bullshit cus a competent OKW will place his flak hq in a good position. Behind a building or on bad terrain.

I dont think its a good idea to secrifice two penal squads early game.

Pack howie...So cheap and comes with AT mine % MG.

120mm comes with IS2, ISU so you dont need to bother with late game KT.
