Can someone direct me to a guide on how to make muds?

does have anything to do with deep snow?

Yes it has everything to do with snow, basically snow tech IS mud tech.

I can't go into deep detail as I need to go out in a few minutes but in the Height map Editor you need to select "Edit Top Layer". Then you need to open Terrain Properties you need to select "Use Mud". Then you need to go into Atmosphere properties and scroll to "Weather" I think? This is where you can select the different Textures and Depths used for your mud. Snow is basically done this same way.

I can go into more detail later if you need me to but this should kick start you into getting somewhere with it.

When using Mud Tech, be sure to consider balance very carefully. It is difficult, but not impossible, to add in Mud to a map that was designed without it.

Also, there are a couple of mud splats that reduce movement speed.

ok i think i am done with the aesthetics, but with a few minor problems.

my map entry points - not map point entry player, is not staying as player's. i keep assigning them to each players, but whenever i save, they just go back to the world's.

any help?

maybe i messed up something in "Teams..."? i copied them over from my 2v2 map that works so i dont think that is it but i have no other clues.
