This bug still exists. Just had a game (Langreskaya) where Pak40 near middle VP hit building in my base (north spawn).

That video is the quintessence of Company of Trolls.

a) The fact that a scatter shot kills/abandons a full health Sturm Tiger only because it was reloading.

b) Did you see that Sturm Tiger driver? He's like. Oh no, my tank god hitaewawawawawawawawaw

I've seen several instances of long range AT gun hits on that map.

This isn't hard to change if you want to, projectiles have a time to live value which will just make them go poof in midair after a certain amount of time. But hitting stuff across the entire map is hilarious so it would be sad to see it go :foreveralone:

It makes no sense that the PAK has a max range but still, the projectile can reach the end of the map. It should not travel that far.

The question is not how it can do that but why those at guns aim only targets that are at pin point range for at gun it they can also hit distant target. That way sth like ground elevation that could possibly make the game much deeper becomes just something annoying. If the range shown in game is maximum range of the gun the shell should simply hit the ground at max range if it misses.

Yeah i know it's some kind of compromise between realism and game mechanics but still..

I love using attack ground with pak43 at range limit and seeing people's reaction when they think they're in the safe zone and it scatters, please don't take that away from me :(

It's hilarious the number of bugs that supposedly can be fixed by changing one little thing.
