Yes , okay, we know that you like coh 1 better and you hate coh 2.

You don't have to constantly make threads constantly explaining that tho.

I wanted to share a great replay - and as it was mentioned its a COH forum not coh2. Plus you wouldn't have said that if you actually watched this match..

Although that VOD was recombined (from the shoutcast mp3s and a new fraps) and uploaded to YouTube in 2011, it was actually from a game that was played early in 2010 (Feb). Seb defeated 12azor 3-1 in epic GR tourney XIV finals, the first 1v1 tourney on 2.601. We started SNF Season 1 shortly thereafter.

Well definitely one of the best memories in my life E-sports related. (Along with the Tomitoma vs Guderian series)

League of Legends events sometimes bring some great content aswell, but it has never brought the same level of excitement of high level COH tournament finals.
I still can't believe COH never made it to the big screen.

yeah COH was just beautiful to watch .. and then when you combined it with the incredible depth of strategy you could watch 2 of the same armies on the same map and still come out with completely unique games.

I have never seen another rts like it. In its current build COH2 is just a sad joke in comparison.

Im gonna check out that replay

the big stage

I'll tell you why:
  • only a handful of people doing work to push the scene to the forefront (most notably Ami)with so few people helping out, those content producers as I like to call them get burnt out quickly.
  • generally the community has a horrible elitist attitude, quick to deride newcomers, slags off other games and communities at the bat of an eyelid and most importantly not willing to put in the extra work to get their game to the big stage.
  • developer doesn't give a shit about the competitive scene and in general does a terrible job in targeting an audience and promoting their products

CoH 2 won't make it to the "big screen" aswell, the game is way too RNG based which destroys the fun and enjoyment.

ipkai I noticed you started (only) posting a lot of critical posts towards relic since a couple months. Before that I never saw those.
