what do you guys think?
however the total cost including tech up and building are similiar, only the scout costs 10 more fuel and 80 more manpower comparing the total cost not just the unit cost.

but dont you think M20 comes really fast? maybe its building time should be a little linger?

I think it comes out at the right time. I don't see it cause too much damage most of the time.

Bonus:

The US army if I remember correctly was the only fully mechanised army in the world during WW2.

It's fine considering Kubel can be built immediately from game start, and M20 is the first hard counter which the USF can get non-doctrinally.

222 comes later and costs more after tech, but it will easily destroy the M20 in a 1v1 confrontation, provided you don't get lured on top of an M20 mine.

Definitely comes just in time (usually around 5 minutes). Later and it would be obsolete.

I think it's okay. As OKW you can always have a shreck or puma by the time it arrives. As Ostheer you can manage it with your fausts until 222 or pak arrives, or you get a lucky teller mine.

The AA halftrack is what you should be afraid of as Ostheer. As OKW you have nothing to fear at all.

You are correct. Most armies including the German and Soviet armies relied heavily on Horses, Mules, Donkeys, and good 'ol Marching. The US Army was the only one that had enough trucks to move every single soldier and their supplies, and that's after we gave out hundreds of thousands of trucks to our other allies. We had a fuck-ton of trucks.

It can hurt if you don't have the proper AT out in time to counter it, which is usually around the 7-9 minute mark. Don't have many munitions, lay a mine down. Have munitions, geta shrek, have no munitions, raketen or pak. I honestly believe it comes out at a fair time considering you can get a Kubel, raketen, gren blobs, and other stuff up beforehand.

Its in the right spot, you can have some mines, shrecks or other At ready.. plus its not that of a big impact.

M20 strikes me as the archetypical hard-to-balance-unit. OKW can deal with it just fine, but Ostheer is a different story. On some maps, the M20 can come out before Ost T-2 is even up, especially if the Ost fuel is easy to contest, and will then proceed to push Ost entirely off the map and decide the game by paving the way for a fast Sherman.

The m8 also comes out too fast. Some lucky ass rifles got some crits on me in cover and they got to 3 CP quickly. I hate that stupid RNG bullshit on relic's part. It's not skill it's luck.

IMO it's not the M20's fault but the fact that a fast M20 is by far the most viable option for US atm.

There's no such thing as infantry crits. Except Pathfinders ability to snipe could be considered as a crit I guess.
