I am pretty decent in 1v1, haven't reached that plateau that the good streamers have, buuuuuuttt thats probably a good thing lol..

MY 2v2 on the other hand... O..my god.... As allies its easy for me, no problem reaching level 45 or 40 with my partner in crime, we win most of our games. The problem is when we go Axis, we cant seem to win. We have been trying everything possible, but still lose. The rifle spam, fast cars, snipers, ISU, its all a joke. We win occasionally, but probably vs players much less skilled. What are some decent counters to allied easy mode? And yes, to us, allies are easymode.. We have beaten the top tier 2v2 players with allies when they play axis. We joke that if we played ourselves, we would break our computers.

Wah? Its because allies are so frustrating to play against, not because we are gods.. We use the snipers, mgs, ISU, B4 strats that cause ppl to pull out their hair lol. And so do we when we face it.. Question was, what are some strats to beat those OP anoying allied strats.

Dasheep....wow..

You find the allied play style much easier that's great, but does not mean that allies are op. On top of that I can't take you seriously when you say " The Rifle spam" is a joke, its the BACKBONE of the U.S. army, what are you going to spam rear ech at the beginning of the game...

Its also one of the hardest things to deal with, rifles jumping in houses on Semois, then building bunkers, i mean, its crazy. I know rifles are the only thing that allies have, but the only counters (MGs) are easily counterable! Smoke nades completely negate the counter!!! I just think its bad design. For some ppl the axis are hardest to play against, for us its the allies. I am looking for axis tips not your snarky remarks guys.

sturm officer + ost mort snipes snipers pretty good in my experience.

i also have hard time when allies go full mental cons+rifle swarm early game.

you just need to play impeccably and survive long enough without losing too much vp. i lost count of how many games me and my partner lost 2v2 as axis... when we were just gained some fotthold and initiative we've already lost too many vps and a few ghost capping and we lose.

To deal with snipers... well good luck with that. A good player won't let you near his snipers, a bad player will just press retreat and your vehicles would have to chase them all the way back to base.

Against American riflemen, you would have to make MGs with some other units scouting out or taking the damage for the MG. One moving riflemen squad has a chance of killing the mg gunner before the mg gunner suppresses the squad. It's a bit weird but it's Relic balancing.

After you survive the early game just make Stuka, a lots of AT and save for jadgtiger because there's not much else to do when Relic made only a few strategies useful in late game.

If it is in the game, then I can use it, deal with it, just like your pathetic game breaking ISU.

There is nothing wrong to use a unit to its full potential.

I Think you kinda missed the point of his thread man...o_O

Honestly its all about the vps in 2v2. The game gets progressively harder for the allies as it goes on. You need to drag it out as much as possible. Once you get some vet on your OKW infantry, coupled with a tiger and ostheer support weapons you'll be rolling. Against snipers just try to soft retreat and operate where they aren't and wait for a good opportunity to ambush with falls or pray to the RNG gods for a lucky mortar round. Keep in mind that snipers cut into one players field presence and if you just avoid them you can negate a lot of their power, or entice them to get greedy and overextend. Just hold one VP, and wait for Tiger/jagd/panthers/mass pumas whatever the situation calls for.

It's pretty much
Sustain as little casualties as possible in the early game.
Try to cause as much damage as possible in middle game.
If you did alright they won't be able to afford late game units (B4, ISU) or won't be able to support them decently.

To counter snipers in team games, well ever since the kunbel buff I don't really have a problem with OKW but if that isn't enough I though about a follow up but haven't tried it yet.

Going for Flack HT and assuming you have been active with kunbel it should have vet1 at least, last time I checked the HT has attack ground so next time sniper fires use the kunbel vet ability it shows sniper even cloaked on mini map, if you don't see it moving after the shot use attack ground were he was last seen, this might work but Honestly again haven't tried it, there is always fast Stuka or the support gun and pray to RNG.

As Ostheer is a bit trickier since your mainline infantry is more expensive and is 4 man squad every sniper shot is a lot more devastating, but just hold for scout car and don't forget to get minesweepers or else you get a really disappointing outcome, worst is vs double soviet T1, T2 there might be a Zis to greet your scout car

The rest isn't that hard to counter, vs fast cars ostheer has faust and HMG, OKW just needs to hold long enough for shrek but if all else fails AT gun is available and seems a lot more viable these days.

Against the Rifles well need to micro your forces better and use houses, also when rifles use houses, as ostheer early mortar in team games is usually a good idea and spend first 60 muni on flamer for pio, as OKW search for blind spots in the house or places with just one window, park your forces there behind cover preferably, grenades are usually a waste they just hope out and back in, unless you are using the 10 muni doctrine nades these things are wrecking houses nowadays, or use stuka or support gun.

For ISU, I feel forced to choose Elephant with Ostheer whenever I see ISU or B4 doctrines for OKW well JT seems to be the most reliable way.

Hope this helps.

I agree with Tristan that double soviets is probably the hardest thing in 2v2 to beat right now. In the star crossed cup, axis teams seemed to have a little success with the jagdtiger/elephant but actually what seemed most effective was spamming lots of medium armor. Luftwaffe supply is an excellent doctrine because it lets you spam panthers hard and also gives you a stuka dive bomb for the B4.

I highly recommend watching the championship games for examples.
