Hello all, I am wondering in what circumstances should I choose the Counterattack tactics commander? I mainly play 4v4 team games. Will I be gimped lategame without an ISU/IS2?
I mainly use
1. Mechanized Support for the ISU
2. Shock Rifle for Shocks and IS2

Nope if your mates get out the Isus/Is-2s you can nuke the enemy Jagdtiger/Eles to death with the B4

B4 is incredibly strong against the OKW with their trucks adn heavy tanks. Very rewarding against blobs on retreat hitting their medic truck
it can work on basically any map but on steppes i prefer mobility over firepower

It's very good and useful in almost any situation.
I use this commander when I feel the need to "carry" week teammates. My favorite strategy is to combine T2 with T4 and do my best to hold territory. The downside is you lack a main battle tank until the KV1. Couple cons, 2-3 maxims, at gun, maybe mortar, 1-2 shocks, su85, kat, kv1, its a strong combination that can very effectively support your teammates.
The B4 is risky is there is a player with stuka dive bomb. Generally you can put it far enough back to avoid walking stuka barrages, so dive bomb is the biggest issue. If there is a dive bomb, and the player has half a brain, its pretty much wasted manpower.
