Hey guys.

Have a question. What does MVGame mean? Also, what the hell does MVDane mean?? And Kappa, for that matter... See a lot of these on COH streams.

Kappa was to indicate sarcasm, MVGame too but limited to coh2 and MVDane is just variation of it. Most people just use if after every sentence though so like moonchile said it doesnt mean anythiing

One day someone discovered the MVGame twitch emote, which originates from the actual broadcaster Man versus game, he's an actual guy. Anyway the emote is him doing a troll face, it got spammed a lot by barton and ironroman and still does to this day in CoH streams by many.

He is aware of the CoH community's fanatical usage of the emote, has yet to play CoH.

The Kappa face is just a face of a guy with a smug expression usually goes along with sarcastic statements or playful teasing.

e.g. Stephen, your stream quality is excellent today, I am enjoying this Picasso-like interpretation of CoH2

They are Twitch Emoticons. Twitch makes use of the ordinary Smileys like

and some additional "faces" like MVGame

which refers to ManVersusGame, a popular Streamer on Twitch.tv. There is no "offical" meaining.

Unofficial the meaning refers to the expression of the face.

MVGame is often used in a funny, sarcastic or ironic context, trolling included. Since MVGame is very popular in the CoH Community MVDane is an alteration to troll ImperialDane (which worked well as far as i heared he banned more people then Xcom). So MVGame becomes MVDane.

Same goes for Kappa

. You often see Kappa in a sarcastic context.
