Ostheer 1v1 USF

Not talking about balance, but at least, what do you do against those Merica 10 tons of Pure Democracy knocking Europe?

Ignoring Assengie for now, there is nothing you can do except retreat or lose squad instantly now.

I find Gren in T1 is extremely shitty against Rifles, they lose in DPS and HP but yet they have the same reinforcement cost, Assgren are close to useless with their shitty MP40.

Sniper can be good but it delay T2 as well, and I find Pak MUST come later than M20 or M18 AAHT let them rape Ostheer 1-2 mins, making it more pain in the ass. Faust is worthless because they can jump out and repair.

Only chance if the map resource is packced enough so I can camp until Stugie and Tiger and counterattack, or else the whole matchup, USF can roflpwn any engagement.

What do you do? or just stay away from Ostheer 1v1?

I'm just staying away from Ostheer 1v1. But still, if AG, Ostruppen and grens aren't working, you probably should choose the opposite way in your oppenings by spaming Mg42s instead of grens. Something must work :).

Yeah, probably have a 1:1 ratio gren:mg42 would help, maybe 1 sniper in the mix to spice things up. But i'm no pro, so take with a grain of salt ;)

I'm no pro, just someone who's ranked 1000+ but here's what I do. Grenx3 mgx2 mortarx1. Sometimes I would replace the Mortar with sniper and go straight T2 for pak.

T1 - 4grens 1mg into T2 - 4PG's 2 of them with shrecks and 2 paks, with airsupport doc. I got beaten by this strategy very quickly.. couldn't deal with the amount of infantry.

Looks like quite interesting, but 4 PG seems an overkill.

I'm giving a break from ostheer, more about to play a little more with SU and US than difficulties with match ups - my player card was going too much one side.

That being said, what about Ostruppen -> T2 and backtech later?

But that doctrine has almost no mid-late game advantage, mobile defence worth a try though.

3 grens 1 mg into t2 then scout car is the most effective build IMO. You get a pak before 7 minutes if they don't have an m20.

Problem is someone who goes vet rifles and goes 4 rifles into lieutenant then a fast AA halftrack can kill you in 7 mins if they just run all their units at your cutoff and flank your mg. Of course that is map dependant.

If you have a pak, an lmg gren and you havn't been pushed off the field though you probably won the game

Its a dumb meta, USF can win in 7 minutes if they don't get screwed by an mg but if they don't win they pretty much lose b/c lmg grens outperform the more expensive riflemen even with upgrades

Well, there's room for alternate endings with ostruppen; it's just a matter of not using that much the railway artillery.

Mobile defence is nice because technically u could skip T3. And there's the lottery, I like it.

USF are easy to beat for me. Soviets are annoying.

A good combination of Grens and MG42s can hold the USF at bay quite well. You know what´s coming at you - a lot of riflemen. The best combination for a 1v1 is Gren, Gren, MG. Keep them close together. If you forced some retreats, you can go for a sniper. Works for me.
