Troops cannot move when they retreat

Sometimes troops can't move when you give them an order of retreat. The men die one by one but just don't move any more. I don't know if this happens on every map. Last day I lost all of my Vet. troops in 5 seconds...

Retreat seems to be broken or something. Retreating troops get stuck on things and get wiped. Also, if you strafe retreating infantry, they get pinned and the player cant do anything about it because the units *think* they are retreating by crawling back to their base.
Also, retreat pathing fails sometimes... i had a squad of infantry walk forward in a straight line from my base, and they got into a skirmish and i was forced to retreat it. Instead of running safely in the direction where they came from, my squad ran sharply to the left into
a stumpioneer squad and got wiped.
In my book, retreat is the "run in all directions and get stuck and hide behind things" option.

The other day I had a squad retreat forward, for some reason. Never got to see where he was trying to go, he was killed.

I very much hope this gets fixed. I have hit retreat on an mg LONG before is necessary and had the whole unit stand in place while slowly being wiped by the opponent... multiple times in one game and throughout multiple games.
Stack the mg facing bug on top of this and you're boned.
