Warhammer40k: Eternal Crusade.

Anyone here bought in already, or has plans to play the Game?^^ I sure have I think with all the People who want DoW3 (me too) there should be much interest in the game around here.
QUICK INFO:

• Warhammer40000: Eternal Crusade will be released in (late?) 2015. (First alpha will probably be Jan/Feb 2015).
  
  
• It is a TPSMMO (ThirdPersonShooter) in a Massive PvP-orientated Persistant World (A bit like Planetside 2)set in the Warhammer40k Universe. Combat will be a bit like SpaceMarine from Relic (to give you an Idea). At launch it will feature Spacemarines, Chaosspacemariens, Orks and Eldar! (with 4-5 Subfactions for every Faction.)
  
  
• It will probably be released for PC/Mac, and next gen consoles (consoles hang on the console companys). A massive Worldwide single server (with full console/PC crossplay) is the Plan(!).
  
  
• One Time Purchase (cheapest option 40$ for the Fullgame) without a monthly Subscripton, but with an Ingamestore (kinda Gw2 Buisnessmodel). And a limited Free2Play Option (only Orks), for more info its called "Free to Waaagh!".
  
  
• Ingameshop: "PayToBeCool"-model/sidegrades. UPDATE: Every Cashitem will have a Statequivalent ingame earnable, so its only a shortcut (to a sidegrade, not something better) + cosmetics.

I will add a lot more info later to this Post, because its kinda hard to find info as a newcomer. Right now I would only recommend to preorder the game, if you are either a big 40k fan and/or like the concept of meaningfull Openworld PvP (its 85% PvP!) which allows 1000players on the same battlefield. There are some nice Preorderboni (especially the 40k ingamestore points) but first of all the Founderprogramm/Preorder will be open much longer, so you can just wait and observe (the Forums for example^^).

Also read some Devresponses, because if you want to buy a game that comes out in 18months, you have to trust the Developers. This should be no Problem, because they are very open, and have no "marketing firewall".

And feel free to ask me anything! (I will also add more Info later to this post, especially about the Ingamestore, don't be frightend by it^^). The Devs say it wont be P2W, but as we know from CoH2 everyone has its own defintion of P2W, and ECs might clash with yours. I think you should Imagine it a bit like the BF4 Store, you can probably buy weapons. But hopefully its even better than that, I would hope that you can find every weapon you can buy, but thats not exactly confirmed! (EDIT: IT IS CONFIRMED NOW! ALL Weapons will have an ingame getable stat equivalent) I will ask the devs if they can share some specifics! As I said the devs are very open. It IS ALREADY confirmed that the Prices in the ingamestore will get changed soon!

Little update, because I think many people are concerned by the Buisnessmodel.

While they never wanted to make it "P2W", the Devs realized that many people would still have doubts, see it as P2W/ it would be harder to balance.

So they changed it to: Every Item that has gameplay impact, will have an stat equivalent findable/not for real Cash ingame!

- the Shortstorycontest winners were announced, and theres a new painting/drawing contest.
- The first Foundermodule confirmed to be 10vs10 (SM/CSM) in Q1 of 2015.

Its a good option for already founders, if you wanted points anyway I think. For Free Players, I am not so sure if its a good deal, because you are then still a Free player. But if you plan on later upgrading, its a good entry point (+ the pack in and of itself is great FOR Founders).

I worship WH40K series. The universe is so rich, the atmosphere is great and relic is good at making RTS games (no shit sherlock). I can just wish they don't blew it.
